Tyson wont last 2 minutes with Kimbo, he is way past his prime. Only way Tyson has a chance of winning is if Kimbo brings a camera in the cage, cause you know Tyson loves to knock out fools with cameras in hand....

jeremy shapp interviewed tyson this past week .. tyson is done fighting.. he wants to enjoy life outside of boxing from what i watched the other day
then you also saw where Tyson said that he needs to call his accountant(who he said he hated) everytime he wants to spend some of his own money because of the amount of debt he's in and he always tells him no...you throw some money in front of Tyson and there's a 90% chance he'll do something ridiculous for it

Kimbo-Tyson More Than a Heartbeat Away

Though Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (Pictures) still has British bomber James Thompson (Pictures) to contend with at EliteXC's debut with CBS on May 31, it hasn't stopped potential suitors from getting in line for a shot at the Internet legend.

Challengers like Strikeforce heavyweight contender Paul Buentello (Pictures) and boxing implant Eric "Butterbean" Esch (Pictures) have publicly voiced their interest in taking on the rising star.

But a rumored bout between "Slice" and 41-year-old former boxing champion Mike Tyson is not in the works, despite various Web site reports posted Thursday stating that the once-feared pugilist has verbally agreed to square off with Slice, 36, in the EliteXC cage.

"I have had no discussions with Mike or anybody surrounding Mike. I know Mike and yes, I would make that fight in a heartbeat," said EliteXC Live Events President Gary Shaw during a teleconference Thursday hyping the May 31 card.

Ferguson's brutal backyard brawls have drawn tens of millions of viewers on the Internet and made him nothing short of a marketing goldmine. The Florida native will be featured in a coming issue of ESPN the Magazine, a privilege previously reserved only for UFC icon Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell.

His bout with Thompson will be Ferguson's third professional MMA contest, which makes a matchup against Tyson all the more unlikely at this time.

Esch, the 400-pound "King of the 4 Rounders," is apparently not an immediate consideration for Ferguson either.

"Right now, no. I don't have Butterbean on the radar for Kimbo," said Shaw, who added that he's spoken with Esch about the bout. "I'm trying to get him in with more MMA fighters and bigger-time fighters, but there may be a time we'll let Kimbo knock Butterbean out."

Kimbo would beat Tyson easily nowadays. Tyson is old, fat and lost his spark. Kimbo is in great shape training with Bas and the gang. Doesn't look like this will happen tho from reading the front page of sherdog.

it could be another marketing ploy K-1 did when Bob Sapp fought Kimo, Tyson came into the ring said he wanted to fight under queensbury rules (fist fight) he got paid his million then it was never heard of again. That'll boost the CBS ratings bigtime....

Anyways, can't wait to see the documentary about Tyson. It sounds like he got mad props and was moved by the whole experience.

Standing ovation for 'Tyson!'

By Lisa Scott
The documentary on Mike Tyson, entitled ‘Tyson,’ premiered at the famed Cannes Film Festival last Friday and received prolonged standing ovations from critics and audiences alike. News out of Cannes report that after the films red-carpet screening, Tyson and director James Toback approached the dais to address the audience, only to receive more cheers from the packed house. Tyson, who was visibly moved by all the adulation, stated “I’ve never experienced anything like this in my whole career. It’s kind of intimidating. I had no idea this thing was going to ever make it to such a grand scale. I feel totally overwhelmed.” The former champ also added: “I lived a wild and strange life. I've used drugs and had physical altercations with dangerous people. It's just a miracle I’m here. Jim (Toback), he just elicited all this stuff out of me, I don't know how he did it.”

A choked-up Toback, who has known Tyson for over 23 years and gave him small roles in two of his movies, said he believed he had succeeded in presenting Tyson as a “complex, iconic and noble human being.” The film, which blends in old video footage and TV interviews, is told entirely from Tyson’s point of view in graphic detail and has been described by many as “shocking” and “moving.” Festival chief Thierry Fremaux, introduced the picture as “a very special film that conveys the memory of a man and the memory of a sport.” ‘Tyson’ is scheduled for major release this Fall.

On E:60 they were saying Tyson looked 280lbs or heavier and Tyson said he didn't think he could ever get in fight shape or even fight again.

Tyson would get smashed at this point if they fought even if it was boxing. People like to hold out like Tyson might still be able to do something but really his last win was against Clifford E. that "black rhino" dude and that was years ago. Hes got knocked out by 2 weak ass fighters since then and even that was years ago.

He really should never fight again...
