Dame Dash made a surprise appearance at New York club S.O.B.'s during a performance by Chicago native Twista.

Dash bestowed upon the rapper a platinum and diamond Roc-A-Fella Records necklace.

The performance took place last night (January 21) as part of AllHipHop.com and S.O.B.'s ongoing "Plain Rap" concert series.

While the chain giving is a symbolic gesture that welcomes a new member to the Roc-A-Fella team, Dame is still in a tug-of-war over the rapper with Atlantic Records, Twista's current label.

"A lot of people are askin' me if Twista is officially down with the Roc," Dash said speaking to the crowd. "Ya'll think he should be down with the Roc? I think he should what ya'll think?"

Dash briefly explained the label situation and then asked Craig Kallman, the President of Atlantic, who was in the crowd, to come to the stage, a request that was denied.

"Craig how you doing buddy?" Dash said. "Can you come here and speak to these people for a second for all these good people?"

Kallman refused again, prompting Dash to return to addressing the crowd.

"You see that's why we haven't worked out a deal," Dash told the crowd. "I can't get my man to come talk to me. But I don't give a f*ck, I love Twista. I guess from now on he's a Roc, and here's his chain."

The crowd burst into cheers as Twista excepted the chain, thanking Dash.

Kanye West also took to the stage, performing songs from his album College Dropout.

Twista is preparing to release his highly anticipated Kamikaze, which hits shelves January 29.

Uh yeah smart guy. This is the internet. We can listen to it online if we want and then go buy it. Why buy a $5 bootleg and support some bootlegger, and then if you like it spend $15 more for it in the store? That's $5 more than I would've payed for it normally. You're a fucking retard. Are you even reading what you're posting? Buy it from a bootlegger? Get the fuck on that with that shit.

Yeah, that CD is fucken tight. One track was kind of annoying, like a repetative Lil' John type of track. But the flows on it are still tight. Every song has nice bass for your systems. Took forever to get this album out, but this shit is definately quality. Support this man and purchase the album.
