Yes, the referee was biased as hell for Hatton. What did you expect, the dude to dock Hatton points for forearms, rabbit punches and low blows? If the crowd didn't lynch his ass after the fight, he would never work another fight in the UK again. I agree that Hatton's low blow was intentional (not to mention vicious), I also think Tszyu should have been credited for a knockdown (I thought his shot was on the beltline). But I expected this kind of stuff in Manchester and I'm sure Tszyu did.
Tszyu knew he was walking into the Lion's Den when he signed the contract and accepted that $5 million for this fight. And Tszyu, who is notorious for rough-house tactics, was just as guilty for the holding and grappling on the inside as Hatton was. It was a rough, rugged, hardcore dog fight, the kind of scrap that a 35-year-old fighter does not weather very well after eight or nine rounds. Who knows why Tszyu quit? Maybe his jaw was badly fractured, but he didn't want to use that as an excuse. Maybe he reinjured one of his shoulders? Or maybe, just maybe, he felt that Hatton was going to knock his ass out in the final round and he pulled 'a Sonny Liston' to avoid that "indignity".so whos next !!I didn't count Hatton out and I wouldn't count him out in fights vs. Cotto, Mayweather or Harris.
