We all have our teams...fortunately for others...there teams are good.

My family is from Cleveland...and I lived there for a while, so that's why I'm a fan.

Seems like that would be a good fit for both parties. I'm sure Clevland can get him in the later rounds, 2nd or 3rd, have him back up Frye and just see how it works out. I think Clevland might be the one place where he might have a lil chance to start. If not right away maybe later in the season.

Cleveland must be doing bad if they think that Smith (the inventor of the 12 step drop) would be a good back up to Frye.

Whenever possible (i.e. the player is available and talented enough to merit being picked at that spot), I think it's smart for teams to draft the hometown kid. Not only is it going to be great PR and put butts in the seats, I also think that the player is more likely to give 100% effort & heart.

You know those Cleveland dudes got pride, that's an absolutely awesome football town.

Fuck Bush, Houston might've made a mistake by not drafting VY on this same principal. I can definitely see Cleveland taking Smith in the 2-3rd round.

Yeah...that fuckin' asshole Winslow!

@panther...I agree with you 100%. Nothing better than having a player really want to play for the team they are with.

The thing is though, Frye is also from Ohio, grew up a Browns fan...and it's a dream for him to be playing for the Browns as well.

As much as I like Smith, we really need help in other areas, so Smith may not get a chance to play for Cleveland.
