not for what he's asking. he just voided a contract with atlanta paying him 6.7 million per the next two years. hes looking for 8 or 9 with big guaranteed money up front. he was on ir last year so he might be looking for one more big payout. you guys might be better off letting him go to seattle. you'll probably end up getting him though. you have our old d-line coach now so thats gonna be motivation to bring kerney in.

This is a good pickup for the Broncos... he'll find the holes to bust through in Denvers system.
As for the Raiders drafting Russell... it's pure speculation on my part being that the Raiders need a franchise quarterback. We could address the o-line later in the draft or free agency but with the number one pick you have to go for a franchise quarterback.

I think CJ would be a safe pick at #3 and beyond but when you consider how many times a WR touches the ball in a game compared to a QB and RB its not worth it to pay a WR all the money he'd get if he were drafted first overall. Peterson is a safer pick, the ball would probally be in his hands 50% of the time the offense is on the field.
I agree about Russell..I have a feeling he could end up being a QB that puts up some nice numbers but doesn't bring the kinda intagibles that helps a team win games consistantly. Plus I still dont get why he's so hyped up to be the #1 pick because of 1 game.
