Nothing was ripped, stolen or otherwise jacked...

The verse was recorded in my studio in Eugene, OR. awhile before I moved back to Kansas City,MO.
Tech N9NE shouts' out my name "BiggBen" at the beginning of his verse.
I also have a verse Kutt Calhoun recorded at the same time, with Kutt shouting out my name "BiggBen" and the town we were in at the time of the recording, Eugene, OR. They were at my house eating dinner with my family after a show they did at The WOW Hall in downtown Eugene.

I have been affiliated and hung out with Tech and the Strange Music cat's, off and on, for about 4 years. I was not told by Tech or Kutt at the time we recorded, that Tech's verse was recycled from a previous project. That may be the case, but artists do it all the time. If they do something locally, at an early time in their career, they may use the same vocals at a later time on a different project. Especially if they know the project was, or is not going to be, distributed nationally.

It happens ALL THE TIME.

In regards to the production, I wanted the beat to be as simple as possible so the vocals would pop a little bit more and mesh the three MC's better than a big slammin, club, baggin, Caribou Lou type beat. And no, I don't use Fruity Loops or any bullshit like that. All the beats I make are composed on Propeller Heads Reason 4.0 with a M-Audio Axiom 49, on a Macbook Pro. I made mention of the vocals being what he had recorded for you, Ben.

If people can't remember or wasn't around at the time, you can read further about it here.

Good lookin out Kain. And in no way am I upset or anything to that effect, I was just trying to let folks know how this all came together. I have had this material for a little while, and took some time off from the music scene. But now we are forging ahead full freakin steam and I thought this would be the perfect time to release this again. I got in contact with my boy T.O.N.E-z and worked out a new version and BAMN! The rest is gonna be history!
I'm sure it didn't get much play awhile back so it will be pretty fresh to the people ears!

Again is ya'll wanna check out our music, go to

Reason 4 is a bad ass program, I just wish that I had a keyboard to be able to use it. It looks to be a complex ass program...

These lyrics I believe have only featured on these tracks from my knowledge..

Bigg Ben - Rhyme (ft Tech N9ne & Kutt Calhoun)
Origin: MySpace Download (2006)

Bigg Ben - Rhyme (ft Tech N9ne & Kutt Calhoun) [remix]
Origin: MySpace Download (2006)

D-Loc & Dalima – Bang (ft Tech N9ne)
Origin: Gillhead Structure (2006)

Bigg Benn:
Kutts verse was partially pre-written material. The last four bars, Kutt was writing while Tech was recording his verse.

And just to clear up any “confusion” about Techs verse being recycled.
Some times an artist, especially on unreleased, underground material, will think a particular verse would fit better on another beat. Being that MOST people do not own, have heard or will ever hear the track with D-Loc and Dilemma, Tech said fuck it and laid the shit on my beat.
If this is way too personal or otherwise tell me so and I will remove the post because I don't in any way want to cause conflict.. I ain't trying to start no bullshit

I was just wondering if Big Benn didn't purchase the bars layed for the 'Rhyme', 'Rhyme [Remix]' & 'Lyrical Orgasms' verses yet were featured on D-Loc & Dalima's Gillhead Structure album, did some type of agreement have to be made on behalf of D-Loc & Dalima concerning it?

Tech N9ne and Kutt Calhoun did the bars for free out of love for Big Benn, was this also the case for the D-Loc/Dalima album in Tech's case?

Do you plan to work with Tech N9ne, Kutt, Big Krizz Kaliko, Skatterman/Snug Brim etc etc in the future Big Benn?

Big thanks to Big Benn for the tracks & to Eyeless for hooking up the link..

Ive heard 2 other versions of this song but there all good tho. They all say big ben on them so I dont know what versionis the official one. They all got diff beats and shit hahah...This version is cool tho. I agree w/ the simpler beat tho. I like being able to hear the verses w/o the track taking over the song...if that makes any sense.
