^ I know, it's my favorite type of rasism.... Truthful.
It is fucked up tho' but damn, you got to have one FUCKED UP government if people are starving because the price or corn went up 2 cents....lol
They still have a entire state under siege in Southern Mexico because they want the crooked govenor to resign.

My friend is living in Mexico and he was telling me about this in an email the other day. Since the right-wing govenment won the election all prices have been going up: gasoline, electricity, milk, chicken, eggs, and now, finally, tortillas. That was like the straw that broke the camel's back because for the poorest families that's how they get a lot of their nutrients, not to mention it's somewhat symbolic of Mexican culture.
People are hella pissed. A bunch of tortilla delivery men charged in a govenment building on their motorcycles in protest, and they fought with the cops for the whole afternoon.

this is nothing new....
a lot of countries with a bad economy have been starving for years....
everyone can do something about it by donating 1 or 5 bucks to help out those that are needy...
just remember this..next time you throw food away..think of those people that only half a meal or one full meal a day...
