FILIPINOS are ASIAN!
I keep saying this over and over again.
We are south east Asians of Malay stock. We are not Pacific Islanders! If anything Pacific Islanders are descendants of FILIPINOS, Indonesians, and other south east Asians. The only islands that are generally in south east asia that are considered Pacific Islanders and have close relations to Polynesians, Melanesians, Micronesian etc are the south east islands of Indonesia, East Timor and other countries in that area that is located in Asian but are inhabited by pacific islanders.
I know most of you Filipinos on this forum who say we are Pacific Islanders just say so because you want to differentiate us from other Asians like Chinese and Japanese. Most of yall dont even know your own culture, some of you guys think you're Hawaiian and think that Pilipinos wear them flower shirts and do Polynesian stuff like Tahitian dancing and name your daughters Melani or leilani or hookalukalali bullshit because you don't know your own culture or think that your own culture is not marketable or interesting as is Pacific Islanders to those who consider themselves Pacific Islanders.
If you dumb asses would research about the Philippines you will know that it is located in an area part of ASIA! Do some more research and find out about Philippine culture and you will be surprised that we have an intriguing dynamic rich with PILIPINO culture that is different than most countries in ASIA. If anything we share a lot of cultural traditions and lifestyles of Indonesians and not Pacific Islanders.

truth is asian careers are overlooked cuz the mere fact that they are asian but if the music sounds good you shouldn't have a racial bias its like when you hear a song and u didnt even know it was an asian rappin thats what good music does...but alot of these rappers that were mentioned in this thread do sound off...they dont sound like the bay legends your used to...like am kidd sounds asian but NUMP came hard on i got grapes i didnt even know he was filipino thats the comparison i have for this thread yadadasayintho? im asian too but the ears dont lie if you aint got the voice or the lyrical skills then STOP
shit.. im asian.. but i aint damn no where near no fob.. and i grew up around blacks all my life.. my best friend in the 2nd grade who used to sleep over at my house ( damn he loved lobsters/shrimp and rice ) was black. and he passed away two years ago R.I.P . I've been freestyling since i was 12 and im 18 now turning 19 this summer. I dont take none of that shit serious tho.. but after sessions we kick cyphers and shit.. all my filipino homies consider themselves asian so fuck what yall thought.. im ashamed of yall if yall is ashamed of the asian race..
