And it was 1100, not 1200.
1,200 total yards
How many running backs in the league? Only 16 of them rushed for a 1,000. So looking at it like that, dude is already one of the better backs in the league.

Like I said, I am not here to debate. You have your opinion, I have mine. Well let it speak for itself this season, provided he gets a legit chance at doing it.

Well...considereing that he carried the ball 6th most in ht NFL last year...

:ermm:

Only 16? Thats half the leauge. There was 6 others with 800+ yards and a all but ONE had a better YPC than LenDale.

Do you NOT want to debate becuase the numbers actually show that he is NOT a good RB? Nice cop out. If you didnt wanna debate, you woudlnt keep throwing little stats out to keep the debate going.

LOL! What are you talking about? We're comparing Lendale White to Jerome Bettis. You said White would "smoke" Bettis down the sideline. Now that we can see who'll smoke who, you come up with this.
whats your proof he wont? some highlight video? im not buying it nerd...i made an asumption and you made yours....

Please show your proof of this. Thanks.
ive watched every titan game....and thats the only proof you can show...there is no stat to show...i can tell you that we had the simpliest o in the game last year and teams were stacking the box 1st and 2nd down every time....i know for a fact that no other team with how much football i watch no other rb in the leauge faced what he did on a constant basis.....

Unfrotunetly, your "word" does not count as a reputable source. So we can throw that one out the window.

I suggest that if you are trying to PROVE something as FACT, you need to come with more than "I saw it".

Well listen here... if Lendale was so fast why did he skip the 40-yard dash? He's the only running back in modern day history not to have a 40 yard dash time. Your boy is slow so just admit it. And any running back can be an elite back in the NFL. Who can't? If you're asking will he? No, because fat boy is too slow. He was slow at USC so that weight that he lost will make him be not as slow as he was last year. But he's still going to be "slow" so the answer is no, he won't be an "elite" back.

^he won't be an elite back just because he's slow. there were many elite backs who were considered slow.

I've seen a few Titans games... and the reason teams stacked 8 in the box was to "contain" Vince Young and to force him to beat them with his arm. Teams didn't stack 8 in the box to stop Lendale White. WTF? It's not like he's a big threat to take it to the house. The boy entered the draft out of shape... didn't run the 40 yard dash because he said he pulled his hammy (he would have dropped if he would have ran a slow 40 time which he probably would have done anyway) and don't forget he only hit 225 15 times. That's terrible! Lendale will never become an elite back.......He's a poor mans Jerome Bettis with slower feet.
again, i agree. ain't nobody scared of the titans running game. lendale white had 3 or 4 carries for 20+ yards, out of the 303 he had the whole season.

that's fine that he can break tackles. it'll be really stupid if he couldn't.

that's fine if he can drag a linebacker and a cornerback. i'd expect him to anyways, since he weighs as much as both combined, so after 4 yards he'll be brought down.

youtube is a great judge of talent yuh know
i know you're being sarcastic here...but come on dog. it's not like people who are uploading videos to youtube are real scouts who evaluate talent. sports fans recognize talent and upload it on youtube for other fans to see...

and you forgot about a college player's transition to the nfl. and on top of that, you're talking about a joel filani, a wide receiver, which is one of the hardest positions that need to adjust in the nfl.

point is, again, lendale white won't be close to an elite back unless he gets into shape. he has to be more lean, so he can maybe have quicker feet(if that's possible).

i'm sorry to disappoint you, but i just don't see lendale white being an elite back. he has some upside, but i think he'll be somewhere in between jerome bettis and ron dayne. or bam morris. or natrone means.

iller then ill thats the whole point of this thread he IS shaping up and working with DINGER/FISH on his footwork....he reported to camp weighing LESS then he weighed on the day of the championship against texas...

lay off the crack pipe and refer to the first paragraph after quoting your in my last post.

i understand he's shaping up.

i don't give a fuck who he's working with. he could be on celebrity fit club for all i care, but he's still fat.

look, it's may right now, and let's check back in september and see if he maintains this weight loss.

if he puts up 1,000+ yards again next season it'll be due to the lack of a passing game. alge crumpler will help, but the titans failed to address wide receiver in the draft, which is something they needed more instead of chris johnson. not to mention, a few offensive linemen would've helped.

our o-line is one of the most underrated in the leauge...we got franchise tackles on both sides...a ageing but great center....we lost a good G in bell, but replaced him with an equal or better G scott....eugne amano will play the other guard spot which he played A LOT of because bengi olsen was hurt almost all season...we also have some extmely good depth......

o line was not an need this year...

although the johnson pick is growing on me a lil......i feel titans shoulda moved up a couple spots in the 2nd with all the 4th round picks they had this year...to get one of the wrs but they didnt.....

fisher said "we have our wrs"...

lets just hope hes right

i understand their offensive line is underrated. i will say that they're a pretty good unit when it comes to protecting the quarterback.

but, when it comes to running the ball, they're average. that's what i meant when the titans needed some help. yes, the titans were among the top in rushing last year, but they had the most carries among any team in the league, and they were 21st in yards per carry.

trust me, i read it......doesnt mean shit to me...IMO youtube highlight reels hold little to no signficance...
look...you might've read it. but you don't understand it. i agree with you that youtube highlights don't mean shit when it comes to talent being evaluated. i even said i know that you're being sarcastic. that's why random fans are uploading these videos, and not mel kiper, jr. it's called youtube.com, and not rivals.com.
