^he won't be an elite back just because he's slow. there were many elite backs who were considered slow.
I've seen a few Titans games... and the reason teams stacked 8 in the box was to "contain" Vince Young and to force him to beat them with his arm. Teams didn't stack 8 in the box to stop Lendale White. WTF? It's not like he's a big threat to take it to the house. The boy entered the draft out of shape... didn't run the 40 yard dash because he said he pulled his hammy (he would have dropped if he would have ran a slow 40 time which he probably would have done anyway) and don't forget he only hit 225 15 times. That's terrible! Lendale will never become an elite back.......He's a poor mans Jerome Bettis with slower feet.
again, i agree. ain't nobody scared of the titans running game. lendale white had 3 or 4 carries for 20+ yards, out of the 303 he had the whole season.
that's fine that he can break tackles. it'll be really stupid if he couldn't.
that's fine if he can drag a linebacker and a cornerback. i'd expect him to anyways, since he weighs as much as both combined, so after 4 yards he'll be brought down.
youtube is a great judge of talent yuh know
i know you're being sarcastic here...but come on dog. it's not like people who are uploading videos to youtube are real scouts who evaluate talent. sports fans recognize talent and upload it on youtube for other fans to see...
and you forgot about a college player's transition to the nfl. and on top of that, you're talking about a joel filani, a wide receiver, which is one of the hardest positions that need to adjust in the nfl.
point is, again, lendale white won't be close to an elite back unless he gets into shape. he has to be more lean, so he can maybe have quicker feet(if that's possible).
i'm sorry to disappoint you, but i just don't see lendale white being an elite back. he has some upside, but i think he'll be somewhere in between jerome bettis and ron dayne. or bam morris. or natrone means.
