Just refuse everything, dont sign any tickets EVER,never grant access to your vehicle, and when a cop approaches your car, roll it down 1" and slip your paperwork through the slot. Answer all questions with head nods and shoulder shrugs, or with another question.

Either that or do like my homie does, when they blurp you, grab ya paperwork, pull over, jump out and lock the car behind you, run up to the patrol car window and ask if theres a problem. Cops are lazy and dont like to get out of their cars, he'll probably thank you for it

geting out and approacihing them doesn't work, they scream and get edgy.

its not what you do...its how you do it

you dont go running up like a wildman, you gotta do it smooth....make it work for you
Step out smoothly, you gotta capture the spirit of a Cirque Du Soleil performer and make it look like one fluid motion, when you step out, spin 3 times and then go straight into the moonwalk for 40-50 feet until you are beside the patrol car....wth your paperwork in hand. No police officer in history has been trained in reacting to this situation and you will catch them COMPLETELY off guard.

well, they might be reading this so it might not work for much longer, my bad

you better hurry up and use it

Well unlike all you rebels I actually went out and removed my tint. It was pretty dam easy too. Went over to CVS and bought myself an iron with a steam function on it, then steamed the shit out of the inside of the window tint then it peeled off real easy. The hard part is removing all the glue, you got to get some goo gone or something like that. Then just return the iron and mail the 25 bucks through a money order to the court and your golden. After I got it removed I can really see a lot better out of my window side mirrors and all around see a lot of shit a lot better especially at night. I kind of see why its illegal in the first place lol.

I really don't have much of an issue seeing through my front windows at night. The worst for me is actually the back window, just because the tint is much darker, and that's not even the illegal part. Although, I'm pretty used to it now, and really don't have issues now, it was harder to drive at night when I first got it.
Anyways, I don't think that's why its illegal anyways. It's because cops wanna be able to see inside your car.

in Washington state u can legally have the darkest tint if u have a medical reason, I assume CA is the same.

my car has the dark ass limo tint all around. I got a letter from my doc saying its necessary cuz light triggers migraines. got pulled over once, showed it to cop and he let me on my way.

now I really do get headaches, so it was easy for me, but perhaps if u see a doc, tell them u suffer from migraines maybe they can whip something up real quick.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

Many drivers tint their windows to keep their cars cool in summer, but 9 Investigates discovered a big increase in citations, because some tint is too dark.

Channel 9's Vanessa Welch learned how to avoid a ticket and why a darker tint isn't always better.

Trooper Jason Duran said he sees illegal window tint on cars all day, every day.

“I can barely see in the car, and they are behind me,” Duran said.

A tint meter reveals how much light gets through your windows, and Durant uses it when he’s ticketing drivers.

Tasha Brown drove her sport utility vehicle around Orange County for 12 years before getting a ticket.

“I knew it was dark,” she said. “Didn’t know it was illegal.”

At least three times a week, installers at Orlando Window Tint Specialists replace window film for ticketed drivers.

“The biggest complaint I get from customers is they didn't know the law existed,” said specialist Matt Fisher.

By law, front windows must allow 28 percent of light to come in. Back seat and rear windows must allow at least 15 percent.

Florida has had a tint law for 21 years, but WFTV noticed a recent spike in tint violations cited by the Highway Patrol.

“It has to be just to kick up the revenue,” said Brown.

From 2007 to 2011, records show window-tint tickets jumped 64 percent in Volusia County, 61 percent in Orange County and 37 percent in Seminole County.

The Florida Highway Patrol said citations are about safety, not revenue, and troopers stepped up enforcement when they noticed an increase in crashes caused by drivers who couldn't see through dark windows.

New technology proves darker tint isn't necessarily better, said Welch.

In Orange County, a window tint citation costs $114. Installing illegal tint is a third-degree felony, but troopers said it's hard to enforce, because shops move around and rarely give receipts.

I've had limo tint all around on all my cars for almost 20 years now and have had about 4 or 5 tickets. 100 bucks for each one...I just pay the tickets and keep the tint.

Getting it removed and put back on each time would be WAY more expensive.
