I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR ALL TALKING ABOUT THIZZ WASN'T ALL THAT GOOD WITH DRE TO BEGIN WITH. HE FELL OFF WHEN HE STARTED FUCKING WITH THEM PILLS. HE HAD A HANDFUL OF SONGS THAT WERE GOOD THAT'S ABOUT IT. I DON'T THINK HE HAD ONE SOLID ALBUM YOU COULD BUMP ALL THE WAY THROUGH. THE ONLY PERSON I'M REALLY FEELING ON THIZZ IS SLEEP DANK. BUT I WON'T BUY THE ALBUMS HE PUTS OUT CAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. THIZZ= GARBAGE.
Let's close this thread out please. We all know Thizz is Doo Doo. One of their hundred rappers probably have read this board and agree but they ain't gonna speak up on it. The best thing Thizz got going is their album covers. PERIOD. Last good album on the label was J Diggs California Livin. We can continue to bitch, and co-sign on the bitchin, but if this is one of the "major" independents in the bay, it kind of brings to light the whole "Why the bay won't make it." We all know we won't be buying no more Thizz CDs, I've only bought 2 since the creation of the label. And I feel I got ripped off. So yah, someone in "The Know" go ask Miami what the fuck they doin. He's like Al Davis with the Raiders, they need better leadership and someone that know what the hell they doing.
i really hate to diss artists because most of thizz has had their shares of hit songs and classic albums!!!! that people still play to this day am i right!!??....but honestly can u diss the artists???No cuz u cant put that all on them they have to get their money so what im saying is that if an investor that likes a album puts it out and gives the artists 15-30 k for it dont u think the artists will do that even if its recycled songs???.....the investor plays a big part of this discussion...because regardless what u say if a investor likes the album he will put it out no matter what its life and its the game!!!
BUT thizz really should focus on not putting out so many comps and mixtapes and really work souly with their artists to come out with the best material that they can at that present time which will mean not as many releases each month and mayb every 2 1/2-3 months to come out
yes they need to decide on their roster and slim that down to who really is with Thizz and the people that are just affilates not signed
Good luck to thizz and their artists pretty much what everyone wants is new music and less recycles along with the thought of a solid album

I think Thizz needs to stop worrying about its artists and do more networking with producers...maybe its the beats that holding them back. Lets face it there is some potential on thizz they just have to step it up and rap on some slumpin ass beats.
EDIT:: Also i think they should put a halt to the Thizz Nations...that is just throwing water on the fire Dre started. I honestly wouldnt give a shit if i never saw another Thizz nation again if they started producing quality releases
