okay yea there are disadvantages growing up as a poor kid in the school system, there tons of valid points in this thread, I agree with most. Pure Pressure, Gangs, Drugs, bad parents, other clammates bring you down, the list goes on.......yadda yadda yadda sounds exactly like my schools years. what kid doesn't go thru all that shit?
BUT WHATS YOUR EXCUSE AS AN ADULT? AFTER YOUR PAST ALL THAT SHIT, YOU GONNA KEEP PREACHING THAT SHIT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? OR YOU GONNA DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?
i know for a fact you can go to college for FREE. Free classes, free books, free everything. Because i been there and down that, I went to Consumes River College for hella years, and didn't pay a fuckin dime EVER solely based on the fact that i didn't make money, and that particular community college has nothing but minorities who got a free college education too. and i'm sure all of them came from all over South Sac's poorest neighborhoods who had way more disadvantages then i could of ever had. So i took classes that would help me to build useful skills to help me get jobs. i was tired of being broke all the time, I never had money, my parents never had money, people think cause i lived in Elk Grove that i was rich or something, fuck that shit, i was poor just like the rest of them. my mom was a janitor who got paid under the table and lived off food stamps damn near all my teenage years, she raised 3 kids by herself, but she still managed to get thru it.
If you give up on life, thats on you, then your just a fuckin bitch that deserves to die and have nothing. But dont point the finger at society. Because theres 1000's of programs and assistants to help you out somehow to make your life a little better. This is america, stop acting like you live in a 3rd world country. cause we're far from it.
