One of the main setbacks for children raised in a ghetto is the lack of the the opportunity to express their true selves without flawed perceptions of parents and peers judging them. Imagine a child that is interested in classical music, many parents that are constantly on the grind will regard that as a pussy interest and only make fun of the fact that they are liking "white people shit".

If a child even shows that he is excelling at critical thinking, he gets shot down by classmates, and either learns how to repress his natural intelligence or feeds himself only simple subject matter in order to trick himself into stupidity.

Our children are faced with the hardest part of adult's mistakes, on both sides of the fence. In america, we have the financial ability to fund every single public school in the same way, but the wealthier districts will constantly refuse that until the day they die, so until that matter can be settled, we will always have a disproportionate society that has 2 very ugly heads, refusal to help others and continuing the cycle of ignorance and stupidity.

Im all for equality for EVERY RACE and EVERY ONE, but at some point the events of the past and even today, need to be forgiven if we as a world of people are ever to move forward. IF people hold grudges towards others because of past faults, we can never accepct each other

So in that case, folks should REALLY blame themselves and the community in which they live. Themselves for falling into the trap of ignorance, and the community in which they live for discouraging success.

It's like that movie "Hoop Dreams", when William Gates and Arthur Agee traveled like 3 hours a day to attend a good high school. Granted, that opportunity doesn't come along every day, but it does come along. I went to school with a bunch of kids from East SJ because of a new program they had put into place...not sure what it was called...but it was there. The high school I went to was way out of my district, too...but I went there because I knew I'd have a better educational experience.

Well if you want to use that as an excuse, go right ahead. The fact of the matter is, HUMANITY was built off of racism...yet so many folks (of ALL races) are advancing all around the world and have been for decades.
