Like camron diplomatse cd and dmx and ja rule jay z etc. Whoever said the west supports the east while east supports east is right on the spot. Think about it though. If u live in the East who would u buy from the west? Certainly no one from the Bay and NO Cali. theres no support. The talent is there though. I know Done Deal family can match up with Peedi Crack Bleek Beans Neef and Chris or Cam and his diplomats. Its just promotion which is none. Locksmith being on MTV is good no matter wut and especailly since he did good. I didn't see that show he wuz on but i wanna pepp it. And wut Cellski said about 1500 is crumbs is true considering he got sick beats as much as the top famous beatmakers. i'm from tha bay born and raised but i've been in LA for the past year.... THEY DON'T PLAY NO BAY SHIT OUT HERE. period. the song wit 40/Fabolous they played out here. and i heard the song wit luniz and fat joe played out here twice on the radio. thas it. they play old school short and dru down's pimp of the year ONCE IN A WHILE. but thas it. if you want the world to hear us, get cali to hear us first (LA). once cali is bumpin our shit, then we can attack the rest of the world. that would be my strategy. the bay is a undadogg and we tryin to take on the whole industry cuz that's just our nature... we're trend setters, but this time we'd probably get farther if we had the whole west coast bumpin our shit....

as far as bein stuck in the 90's or needin to change... FUCKA THAT. we don't need to change shit... mainstream rap is pop music. we don't make pop music, we make rap music. if we was on tv and radio as much as all that pop shit was... then everybody would fall in line and be bumpin our shit, jus how we're forced to hear pop. if it was the other way around and only our shit was heard... then we'd be the only ones makin hits and sellin platinum status. that's the bottomline. and just how everyone does now... they'd be tryin to make music like US...

damn it sounds like we all feel the same way about the westcoast rap scene (it's fucked up). All of us also feel that Lock got jacked. We all realize that there is not enough money or big deals to back Bay artists.
So what do we do? or shall I say... what can we do? 40 is our biggest artist and even he cant get the respect he deserves. Cellski made it clear the frustration that every bay area rap fanatic is feelin. Personally, I think the east and south will kill itself and the Bay will come out on top.......... eventually. lets hope.
