SO WHY WOULD A LABEL WANT TO GET BEHIND MUSIC THAT WOMEN DONT NECESSARILY FEEL? (SINCE FEMALES ARE THE BIGGEST CONSUMERS OF MUSIC ACCORDING TO STATISTICS)

SECOND, HE SAID ALL THE MUSIC SOUNDS THE SAME. HE HAD AT LEAST 30 DEMOS ON HIS DESK WITH A SONG CALLED "GO DUMB" OR "GO STUPID" OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE. HE WAS LIKE, "YALL MUTHAFUCKAS ARE MAKING THE SAME SONGS OVER AND OVER. THATS NOT HOT.."

LAST, HE WAS SAYING THAT OUR RADIO DJ'S DONT PLAY WHATS HOT. HE SAID THAT THE SONGS THAT ARE ON THE RADIO THE MOST ARENT THE ONES WHO SELL THE MOST RECORDS..... OBVIOUS SIGNS OF PAYOLA OR PAYOFFS. HE SAID THE TRUE STREET BUZZ IS KILLED. HE SAID THERE IS A LOT OF GOOD MUISC IN THE BAY, PEOPLE JUST DONT KNOW ABOUT IT.......

THE ONLY REASON I POSTED THIS IS NOT BECAUSE I NECISSARILY AGREE WITH HIM, BUT THOSE OF YOU OUT THERE TRYING TO BREAK INTO THE MAINSTREAM CAN KNOW WHAT THE LABEL HEADS THINK........

That's just one guy's opinion. If all the major labels felt like that then why is FAB signed, Federation, A'z, The Pack, etc.? Who ever you talked to I doubt that he's as big as the CEO of any of these labels.. And a lot of the songs have the same concepts but sound the same? Naw, he trippin. If he got a million demos that all say go dumb in the title I think he's getting non-Bay Area hyphy music. Prolly some seattle niggas makin hyphy shit. And why is hyphy the main topic of convo on here?

Yea I completely agree. It all sounds the same. All the god rappers can't get on the radio either cuz they don't wanna pay or becuz its 2 explicit of songs. Songs that make it r shit like "u & dat" with r&b collabos. Its just the way it goes. The bay needs 2 expand and quit bitin off eachother. Its good that the bay is united and every1 is on the same page but rappers need 2 step it up and start shinnin instead of doin wut every other bay rapper has already done. Sum of these cats r ruining it 4 the 1's who really got talent
