Okay everybody. Last week or so, somebody was asking about the TRUE/OG/Original/1st Pressing Version to X-RAIDED – PSYCHO ACTIVE CD. Everybody including myself thought that the “PINK” colored back insert was the real deal, BUT…guess what? We were all wrong. I just came up on 2 Long Box ORIGINAL copies of this Classic album. We all know that the Long Box version of any album is the TRUE OG. The Pink Colored version is really the 1st Re-Release. I took a picture of the TRUE OG and the PINK Re-Release individually and separately so everybody can see what I see. I even took pictures of the Long Box, before I opened.

If you pay attention you can see the clarity of X-Raided Loc’s picture. You can actually make out his eyes behind the sunglasses; see the wrinkles in his fingers, scares on his forehead and more. It’s quite amazing if you could see this with your own eyes. You can even make out the border that run’s along the top and bottom of the picture. On this version the words, “PSHYCHO ACTIVE” are in the Original view. This means that you can barely make out the top half of that phrase, but can clearly see the bottom half. Even the “O” in the word “PSYCHO” has to different hues of Red in the inside of the “O”. Basically this OG version is in Full Color and all original. Now you can see what was in the background of that back insert!!! Yippy!!

In the next picture you will see the PINK 1st Re-Release. In this set of pics you can’t make out the wrinkles in his fingers. All that you can see is the shadowing on his fingers, an even darker forehead, Sunglasses. Overall…this version is much darker and blurry. The picture was so blurry that they had to digitally enhance the words, “PSYCHO ACTIVE. Matter of fact you can’t even tell or barely tell that there’s a black border along the top and bottom of this picture. There’s only one hue of Red in this versions “O”.

I am, but...

I am going to sell it, but it's not going in an auction. It will go up in my store. How much I don't know yet. Everybody and their momma has been hitting me up on buying it, so I know that it will fetch a nice penny. We'll see. I will let you know cashflow.

Yes, I do have an address, but I'm really trying to decide if I truly want to sell it. I know this is Extremely Rare due to the fact that nobody even knew that this version existed. If I decide to sell it, I will post it up on this site. Thanks.

Funny thing, but this is not always the case, exemplified by one of the items you list this time, the 2 live crew's move somethin. In your auction you state that this long box is released on LUKE records, but we both know that this album originally was released on Luke Skyywalker. In other words, that CD was re-released as a long box.

But, your move somethin version is the clean version (9 tracks and no label on front). According to the biography of Luther Campell, this is the first clean version of any album. I am not sure at this moment whether the clean version was released on CD on Luke Skyywalker back in 88 together with the dirty version, but I was a member of the skyywalker fan club back then and they sent me a list of skyywalker released CDs. I have the vinyl version of the clean move somethin' album so I guess it was released on CD too.

to summarize, in rare cases the long box may not be a true OG. I don't doubt that your x-raided record is the OG though and I guess you'll get hella cash for it.
