Thats why the game is saturated with a whole gang of wanabe rappers. Its like playing the lotto. They wanna hit that jackpot with a one hit wonder, trend record and bubble off that. Nothing wrong with that. I mean get ur hustle on but at the same time, thats what killed hip hop. It aint about lyrical skillz or story tellin anymore. Thats just the mainstream tho. Hip Hop is very well alive in the underground.

he is just stating reality. i was about to say the same thing. stores do not mark up cds two dollars, more like 5,6,7 dollars. i've seen them marked up as high as $10.
