Anyone else ever catch a virus on this website? I clicked on a link to open the East Co Co forum and next thing I knew, I couldn't get on the internet cause I got some virus. Took me a few hours but I was able to get it fixed. There for a second, I thought my laptop got peeled :dead:

I can't view Youtube videos anymore. I've tried disabling my P2P blockers, AdblockPlus, and others.

I was actually kinda scared to even come back on this site after that but wish I had a Mac for that reason alone. My hard drive died like a week later too which sucked balls. I doubt it was related to the virus but who knows/

^^^Yea I had a sony laptop and it wouldnt even go to desktop anymore it had so many viruses i took it to a computer spot and got it fixed for $39 and flipped it on craigslist. I bought a macbook with that and never had any problems since.

windows.. you should nevrer surf the net with...
I have windows with anit virus..
but i only play games online..
and watch DVDs etc on windows...

I was using Microsoft essentials security software which has actually been really good for about the last year but that crap hit my laptop hard and next thing I knew, it was complaining about a burning sensation when it tried to take a piss

lmao^^ that was pretty funny. I've actually been trying to remember if I even got as far as clicking on the east co co link. The more I think about it, I don't think I did. I just got some pop up on the screen and tried to click off of it and it was telling me to download some b.s. to get rid of the virus. I closed out the internet then couldn't open it again
