I liked this interview...it was pretty straight forward and not as long winded as some of the others Ive seen I realy liked this part

"I got the beat for “S*** Is Real” from Matic Lee, a 19-year-old black kid from Atlanta who plays guitar and drums and he did this music for me. It sounds like 311 meets Maroon 5. It reminds me of a guy in the middle of a dorm or frat with a band, rapping about how he lets loose on the weekend then realizes he has to come out of the weekend and go back to work or school and studying."
