Chew on this:

There's a strong chance, with the Patriots having the 49ers pick in the upcoming draft, that Darren McFadden could suit up next to Lawrence Maroney in the Patriots backfield.

Ouch...

Yeah, saw this on ESPN, too.

Just a possibility. Trying to predict anything beyond the first two picks can be a stretch, though.

the niner's owner and pat's owner made a deal under the table when new england found out they would lose their pick in this years draft, the deal was to have san francisco tank games this season so the patriots could get the high draft pick in return the niners got cash in the amount of $25 million plus, don't forget Kraft is one of the richest owners in all of sports in America so its possible he can come up with that kind of cash in a heartbeat.

I could see the Pats drafting defensively next season in the 1st round. But most defensive players aren't drafted in the first 10 picks, so yeah they might try to trade down. But their LB core is getting a little older. Even Rodney Harrison is gettin older. They've already got 1 star QB, good ass o-line, 1 star receiver, and 3 other role player receivers. Lawrence Maroney is a good back. Defense is still solid. Man I hate to say this but the Pats aint goin anywhere anytime soon. Bastards.

You'd be suprised how many idiots post in here WSP...Quick is probably someone who got into sports because his uncles watched football,so now he pretends, but knows nothing outside of 9erville.He obviously has no clue about how a top 5 pick could have helped the Whiners future out.Not only do they not get any pick for being the 2nd worst team in football....they are making the Pats even more dominant.

Yes, there going to draft a player that is going to help them go undefeated. You act like this pick is going to make or break them. Without this pick they are going to win super bowls and with this pick they are going to win super bowls. First round draft are for sure bets too. How do you even know for sure that this guys is going to be great in the NFL? We dont need another 10 million dollar bust.

And we dont have the Colts first round pick either. And we get the second pick in the seccond round. Say we pick 28th and 34th. Yea we cant get quality players with those picks.

You live in Washington but your an Indiana fan? Talk about liking sports because the uncle that molested you liked them.

And your name fits you well.
