Any other CHP-certified triple-digit travelers on the sicc? and if so what was the resulting consequence?

Not trying to make light of the situation... The only time I hit these speeds is when I'm on the 5 going between N & SoCal...

I usually smash at night but today had to get back in the early pm...

When I was only 20 miles from getting off the 5.. I got blurped & ticketed for 105mph..

At this point I'm just glad the rental didn't get impounded... cuz the first thing the cop said was, "are you aware that you can lose your liscense for this?"

I know cool story, breh - but I made this thread so we could hear a better story & learn from the mistakes!!

edit: looks like a fine ranging $825 to over a rack, 30 day suspension, & the 2pts on the record sticks since there's no traffic school for over 100mph...

My highest that was CHP certified was 95mph...I was really going 100+ but the cop said he gave me a break, because anything 100+ is an automatic reckless driving.


Non-CHP certified, I took my Gixxer 750 to 155mph...which was stupid as fuck, now that I think about it. Tunnel vision is real!


@Shea, you truly are a savage. 155 felt like I was in some kind of 4th dimension warp tunnel. Couldn't imagine going 10mph faster.

at my old job I did something similar, old company van 1980's something or other piece of shit, mobbin on the 1-90 bridge. the speedometer maxed out at 90 and the arrow damn near went all the way around back to 0 haha thought the car was going to explode

i do 120 (as far as my toyota will go) every time i go to the bay..fuck the law...ill see him behind me way before he gets close to clock me and ill see him ahead of me way before i can slow down to 80

i check my car completely before i do shit like this so no tire blowin out....if it does fuck it im high as fuck

never got stopped tho ive done it a good 20-25 times

the slowest i go on the 5 is 90 mph

i toggle between 90 and 120 pretty much the entire way past magic mountain until i see BART trains

i dont imagine that changing

glad you know that a tire that might look cool...can still separate at high speeds..when tires heat they expand..too much pressure builds and pop there goes your certified looked over tire
