Last inning: 2 outs, full count....Freddy Sanchez at 1st base........takes off full speed on Billingsly's first move.....

Huff is at bat......and he hits a very long single to warning track in right field...........Ethier is moving away from homeplate to field the ball.........

Mind you, Sanchez was off on Bills first move.......and Huff hits a long single.......

Sanchez does NOT score!!!!! He stopped @ 3rd base.......would have been out by a mile

Just saying!
Flannery has no balls...he should have been wavin Sanchez the whole way... 2 outs, make them make a play, it wasnt like Barry Bonds was lurking on deck, bad baseball if you ask me... thats why i love Gallego as the A's 3rd base coach, cat takes chances and puts pressure on the defense...

he would have been out by a mile! well maybe not a mile but by quite a bit..............and you still would have sent him? Ethier has a very good arm, out the ball on the money.......sending him would have made 35,000 fans moan in agony when the homeplate ump called him out..........

I dont know about that man.. Eithier has the best arm out of all the outfielders out there, id say like schierholtz throwing home.. if it was to Ramirez i wouldve taken that risk or if it was Torres running as he's probably the fastest guy on the team and former track star

yeah no need to take chances with all the runs the giants put up, i should have known better playing at the collegiate level and coaching 3rd base on a team that was in the section playoffs....

Ethier doesnt have the strongest arm (Kemp does), but Ethier did have double digit outfield assists last year. which means its pretty damn good.........i agree with you though that Torres may have scored

BENGIE MOLINA TRADED

The San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers have completed a trade to send veteran catcher Bengie Molina to Texas in exchange for relief pitcher Chris Ray, a major-league source told FOXSports.com.

Other players may also be involved, sources said.

San Francisco general manager Brian Sabean would not speak about any specific Molina trade scenarios during an interview on Wednesday, other than to acknowledge that he will consider trade offers for him.

The Giants are looking for left-handed hitting and were willing to move Molina as a way to get rookie Buster Posey in the lineup on a more regular basis.

Sabean said Wednesday that the team would prefer to add left-handed hitters who are under control beyond the end of this season. First baseman Chris Davis and catcher/first baseman Jarrod Saltalamacchia are among the Rangers who match that description; both are currently in the minor leagues.

However, one major-league source said neither Saltalamacchia nor Davis is involved in the proposed Molina deal.
