I listened to this album again and Im feeling and appreciate it even more I was just more focused on that New Season album so I couldnt soak this one all the way but now I soaked it up and no disrespect to any other bay artist but Imo San Quinn : The Rock and Ya Boy : Rookie Of Da Year albums are the most quality albums I heard from the bay in the last year. Tight releases Done Deal thank you Yall gained my respect.

The thing about Quinn and Ya Boys voices are they have southern type accents so that makes them sound more universal on tracks.

i wasnt feelin da album when i was just hearin on my computer, den i put it in my deck wit da subs and slap, yadadi, and dat shit slump....da production iz sick...i like how dey made quinns voice loud so that the beats dont over power the words...its a solid album....would be top 3 seller if it was mainstream...i was tryna compare it wit "Tattoos, Bandanas, and Tongue Rings" but it dont size up, just cuz it dont hav stand out songs

best tracks (besides already released):
The Hunter
Done Deal
Kick Yo ass (slapper)

iono mayne, its a hot album

hard album to beat for the 06'

people that think the last abum was classic then this is a legend. better than the last album.
hell yeah was too radio for me, quinn next single should be "tell me what the price is" has bay sound wit and radio appeal. make video for this. album has the mob shit n the deep songs. and its good that they didnt throw in "the bay is in the area" cause that song was boo boo. the songs that didnt have that great of a beat, quinn made up by his lyrics specifically: run the block and its a done deal.

2nd time in rotation and i can say it's my latest fav album since The Jack Artist. good shit quinn

MUST COP FOLKERS!

also track wit ya boy did slap but it seem like all his lyrics are always about clik clak this, shoot this, puta hole in this...he need to rap about more diff shit.

this is a solid album folks. Its really nice to see atleast 1 bay rapper that aint fallin into this hyphy movement. not that I dont like the hyphy movement, but its nice to hear some real rap shit. Look what ive done to them is one of the best rap songs ive heard in a while... period.

I'm feelin a lot of what has been said about this album. It's hella clean and plus its real music, but at the same time it don't have that instant appeal that I Give You My Word had so I know I need to fuck with this for a bit and let it marinate.

I can already tell its more sophisticated and accessible to a wider audience, it don't knock your head off like his last one did, but then this has a lot of heart and is a lot more mature album from Quinn. If this is his shot at making it, you can't front on that.

I bump the hell out of them Tone Capone beats off I Give You My Word, and after all the anticipation on this one I was expecting to be hyped straight out the gate, but its different to what I expected and that ain't a bad thing, this gonna be a slow burner.

I need to let it soak for a minute, tracks I'm feelin the most so far.. Run The Block, Get Low and It's A Done Deal. I wouldn't call it a classic though, you can't skip through a classic but 'Tell Me What The Price Is' is horrible. What were they thinking on that?
