ok. so here we go.....
PG: Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry Vs. Steve Blake/Sergio Rodriguez
This should be an area the blazers could exploit... considering PG could be the Rockets weak point on the D end with him on blake... Lowry may give some major problems for Sergio seeing lowry is a bigger PG and can handle himself defensively...
SG: Ron Artest/Shane Battier(when guarding roy)Von Wafer Vs. Brandon Roy/Rudy Fernandez
This will be tough for us. Brandon has struggled against Artest on the kings and the rockets. but is roy is getting a handle on things against some of the leagues toughest defenders. he struggled against bruce bowenand the spurs, and got over that. I expect if ron artest struggles on Roy they will throw battier at him and vice versa. so we will get a good idea of where roy is at in this match up
SF: Shane Battier/Ron Artest Vs. Nicolas Batum/Travis Outlaw
This could be the X factor position of the series...Everyone wants to talk about Artest/battier shutting down roy. what if Batum shuts down Artest early, and gets them outta the game early like he has against other great players in this league. I mean Artest and battier aren't exactly offensive guru's and their offense is already stagnant as it is. I know the blazers have just as slow of offense as well. but we can get up the floor when needed, and the only real rocket adapt for that is aaron brooks.
PF: Luis Scola/Carl Landry Vs. Lamarcus Aldridge/Channing frye
you could add Travis outlaw to this 4 list. Anyways. lamarcus should be able to abuse scola like he has... we need to ABUSE this advantage in this series to win.
C: Yao Ming/Chuck Hayes Vs. Joel Pryzbilla/Greg Oden
Now this could either be the best match up or the worst... Yao struggles to find his rythm and oden/pryz stay out of foul trouble, or yao does work and gets pryz in foul trouble and leave it on shakey oden to stop yao...then oden gets in foul trouble= We're FUCKED
