I have noticed a few times where the calls seemed to come from upstairs while watching Raider games.
The bad call on the roughing the passer on Campbell turned into 2 bad calls as the upstairs refs magically hit them with grounding.
Or there will be flags thrown, pass interference when Ford was tripped in the end zone, only to have the refs make the call, then the upstairs guys reverse it.

Seems the NFL is trying to have more control on the games outcome with these upstairs refs. Its the snow game but more consistent now.

@nrodgers. When did that happen?
that last drive by houston on the penalty to houston for that facemask penalty. on that same play after they called the facemask they then went over to the replay booth and saw that groves didnt get off the field. i dont see how you can review a play and call a penalty that wasnt originally flagged for on the field.

12 men on the field is reviewable, you can throw the red flag for that... something like roughing the passer or pass interferance are judgement call and not reviewable...

yeah they were inside the 2 minute mark. but its still bullshit that you can go to review to check on a penalty. if refs dont throw flag for it then it should be left as is.

Just as cutthroat said its reviewable. I think there should be reviewable penalties as well as a time limit for penalty markers thrown.....like for example the ref can't wait until a ball is caught down the field and as the player is running in for a touchdown call holding on an offensive linemen who was holding before the ball was thrown.

I also think that as long as we're the Raiders we'll be one of the most penalized teams in football.....and I'm fine with that as long as we're still finding ways to win in spite of it.

i didnt see the play, but look at like this....

say they throw the flag and said player was off the field, the texans get 5 free yards, wouldnt you rather they not throw the flag and review it after?

I'd rather they review the play where mcfadden ran 42 yards for a touch down and they called a bullshit holding penalty on cooper carlisle. the replay showed he barely even blocked the Dlinemen, nothing even close to a hold. in the end it didn't matter, because campbell threw to schilenz for the TD anyway. it could have cost us the game though.

I don't think every call should be reviewed, but calls like that 4th down play and plays that end with a TD. those should definitely be reviewed. there's too much effect on the game with plays like that, to not allow coaches to challenge them.

I don't even mind sitting up top honestly. Even mt Davis is cool imo. I sat there for the jets game and it wasn't bad.... I just don't wanna pay more than 30-40 bucks for that shit.... And those seats are hitting for 60 and up on stub hub right now
