A lot of cats saying that Nump shouldn't have been on there...but what he is IMO is more of a representation of our culture out here...not just on the music side...but just his style is whats really poppin off here right now...
I'M STILL SHOCKED THAT MOST OF THE POSTS ON THIS THREAD ARE ONES THAT ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SHOW INSTEAD OF BEING HAPPY THAT THERE ACTUALLY WAS A SHOW ON US !!

IMO THIS WAS JUST THE FOOT IN THE DOOR AND THE REST IS UP TO US TO GO OUT AND ACTUALLY SUPPORT OUR ARTISTS...( AND BY SUPPORT I MEAN ACTUALLY GO OUT AND PURCHASE NOT DOWNLOAD OR BURN )

If you know Infinite Studios-where everybody does their music-We talkin Keak, Team, Rick Rock, Quinn, Ya Boy-When i say everybody-I mean-anybody that is anybody in this Bay Rap Game goes to that studio & that is where Nump works.

So dont think that just because YOU aint heard of him... "The Almighty You" That this man hasnt done his work & paid his dues. He gets respect from the ARTISTS that he helps...& His taping was right infront of Infinite Studios...nuff said
Im mean Yuk is tight n got flows for days...but everybody get off his nuts.....so what they ain't have no yuk on there...what he gunna do...all the sudden start selling platinum records n shit....yuk is tight n all and he got rhymes but the nigga don't seem like he focusing on anything but anger for the last few years and most cats is sick of it. Im like they didn't have the team on there...feel me..I think that wasn't a good move.
I'm not saying that he's a worthless addition to this Hyphy movement, I've heard good things about his studio work.
As far as a rapper, dude is new to me and many others, on a street and commercial level. I like his style, but still it's an adaption of Hyphy. There are other artists that built the foundation for this Hyphy movement.
I've been watching Yuk and Messt put in HARD work for many years, and Tha Team and Tha Federation thats been doing it HARD for a couple years. Come on now Rick Rock who actually started this shit got overlooked.
I'm glad to see Nump on My Block, I just feel other artist deserved more attention.

Personaly i wish them mutha fuckas would stop calling it the hyphe movement because that shit sounds gay, and a movement can die out at any time, there was alot of people not on that shit and some people got too much time, and they didn give enough props to mac dre because with out him there is no " hyphe movement" that my block hurts my feelings, and will somebody tell e-40 if he is truly gonna be the leader of the hyphe movement can he get his facts str8, he told jim jones on that sucker free count down that the difference between hyphe and crunk is that hyphe is more up tempo, that maybe be tru but thats not wat you say, so the next time somebody ask you wats the diff you tell them " you GET crunk, you ARE hyphe" and thats it
