i thaught it was well done, it was exactly how i thaught it was gonna be..its a good look for the bay.......i said i wasnt gonna complain, but my biggest problem with it was..............WHERE THE FUCK WAS YUKMOUTH......they got nump and zion i and all that shit, but not a bay legend and pioneer like YUK, maybe he couldnt make it to be filmed, but that was kind of a letdown

i think its a disgrace to the bay area half them rappers they showed is not bay area fondation the bay is more then dumb music that shit is just a fade and thats not how i want people to think i am , out here you get your melon cracked!

Damn I barely woke up, I cant believed i missed it. Fuck it just will have to catch da re-run. Thats all bad 4 Yuk IMO, he mssed out on an oppurtnity 2 get more recognition.

I thought the show was dope. They showed a lot of artists. 40, Short, Keak, Fab, Quinn, JT, Zion I, even Hammer and Heiro's for a qiuck second... Played clips of most of the hit songs.. Super Hyphie, Tell Me When To Go, Hyphy, Hell Yea, Look What I've Done...etc. Even showed clips of videos from Super Hyphie, Tell Me When To Go, and 3 Freaks. It was everything I had hoped it would be, so I can't complain. Too bad Yukmouth and The Jacka weren't in it, but its only a 30minute show, so you can't fit everybody..

They did a good job. They could have showed a little bit about Richmond though. I mean master p got his start out here. The least they could have done was shown the Rich instead of Nump? Who the hell is Nump?

how the hell they gonna do a My Block:the bay without the CREST!?!?! come on now. instead of nump, why didnt they show Mac Mall, Dubee, J-Diggs and the Thizz camp? that was a disappointment cutty. they could of interviewed them and had them cats rep Dre.

instead of nump's 20 seconds, they could have shown:

-yuk
-jacka/mob figaz
-mess
-droop-e
-rick rock
-federation
-hoodstarz
-maybe a clip on those who started in the bay (pac, the game, master p, etc)

anything but NUMP!


i also thought the too short segment seemed hella long, it coulda been cut down...

kill the hatred towards nump, can't even have a positive thread on here without a little hate. the man might be far from the most talented in the bay, but he's getting more exposure than 90% of the others...so he's gotta be doing something right. listen to you guys..."20 seconds is wayyyy to much." come on. i dont even like nump that much, but let that muthafucker shine for a minute...or a third of a minute, whatever the case may be.

other than that, its bout muthafuckin time that the bay got some recognition like this. this was as much as i could hope for in 30 minutes on MTV...only thing i wish they would have done differently, is shown that our roots is not the hyphy movement...it ain't all fun n games out here, muthafuckers are serious about their shit.

don't want to hate on the dude nump. but even he know, if he honest, that he should not have been on there. must be some backroom politics on that. if it could have been an hour that might have enabled everyone to be a little bit happier

haha tha nigga sway wuz hella hyped thru tha whole thing. yea that shit shuld be at least an hour if not 2+, 30 min made everything rushed, barely spent time on anyone but yea, i was surprised no fed, hoodstars, esp the team since they got hella hitterz in tha bay. anyways, good look on the bay tho
