what a fucken game tonight, i will be surprised if this isnt game of the year. KD brings so much to this team. As good as that 2016 team was they would not have been able to come back on the road like they did tonight

so glad i got to watch the full game. Best offensive display in 1 half ive ever watched. Dont care if they didnt break the record for most points in a half. McKinnie is fucken dope. Cant believe teams passed up on him. This has been most excited about the regular season ive been in a while

That's only because our offense is built around Steph and the spacing he creates, which give's Klay and to a lesser degree KD room to breathe. Take away Dray whom is basically our point forward whom dictates the offense the majority of the time and there's no real leadership on the floor. KD need's to step it up regardless of his leadership qualities, his shot selection has been absolutely trash, his on-court awareness has been poor (don't know how many times he chose to go iso when Klay had a wide open trey/jay) and his defensive effort has taken a dip. Klay's also been in a bit of a slump both physically and mentally which for the most part comes down to not enough transition/catch and shoot looks in which he eats off of. We're slowing the ball down and playing at everyone elses pace but our own... that's not our game and KD need's to start utilizing his length and drive/take higher percentage shots instead of settling for trey's when they're not falling to begin with.

Stephen Curry participates in every part of practice — other than scrimmage

Warriors guard Stephen Curry participated in every part of practice Tuesday night except for the scrimmage, the latest sign of progress as he nears his return from a broken bone in his left hand.

Curry, who hasn’t played in a game since he suffered his injury in an Oct. 30 loss to the Suns, wore a red no-contact jersey during Tuesday’s session. As teammates and coaches jokingly called him “Tom Brady,” Curry went through skill work, defensive drills and light shooting with no issues. Though Curry is not scheduled to scrimmage this week, he has impressed head coach Steve Kerr with his conditioning.

He looks really good,” Kerr said. “He’s putting himself through some brutal workouts, so his conditioning is about as good as it could possibly be for somebody who hasn’t scrimmaged, just because of what he does and how he goes about his work.”

The Warriors don’t have an official timetable for Curry’s return, but he is expected back sometime next month. League sources have told The Chronicle that a return March 1 against the Wizards is a possibility.

Though other lottery-bound teams might not want a player of Curry’s caliber back out of fear he’d hurt the franchise’s chances of landing the top pick in June’s draft, the Warriors remain insistent that they will put Curry in the lineup when he’s ready.

“I think it’s important for Steph and Andrew (Wiggins) to play with each other and get to know each other,” Kerr said. “I also think it’s important for Steph to play without the guys we’ve lost who aren’t going to be back next year: (Kevin Durant), Shaun (Livingston), Andre (Iguodala).”

Kerr reiterated Tuesday that he doesn’t expect guard Klay Thompson to return from a torn left ACL this season.

Eric Paschall was one of a handful of players in the 2020 NBA Rising Stars Challenge who wasn't drafted in the first round, but the Warriors rookie looked right at home Friday night in Chicago.

Paschall scored a team-high 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting in Team USA's 151-131 comeback win over Team World. Defense was optional at the United Center, but the Villanova product finished the night plus-33 alongside the rest of the Team USA reserves.

The 23-year-old flashed his offensive versatility Friday night, getting buckets in traffic and from beyond the 3-point line.

You'll have to look elsewhere for outrage that Paschall wasn't the game's most valuable player, despite leading his team in scoring. Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, Paschall's teammate on the night, won MVP honors.

Something tells me few people will remember that as more than a footnote. The night unsurprisingly belonged to New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson.

Yes, he scored only 14 points, but bending the rim on a dunk was more than enough to steal the show.
