Coffee shops, damn luxury!
Its looking good for Holland since Suarez will miss the game(who else i know a couple of players got yellow card?). I dont think Holland would have any problems with Uruguay even if Suarez would play , to be honest. Robben had a couple of situationas where he could have passed instead of taking the shot. By the way , in the last minute i think ,when Holland counterattacked , what the hell happened? They had like 3 players against the goalie and he(i dont remember who it was) just stood there with the ball for like 5 seconds when he just could have passed and it would be a goal for sure! That was pretty funny ..
Yeah I was stunned when that happened I couldn't believe it.
I must say I am glad Suarez is out for the next game, but still.. anything can happen..
He did make a great sacrifice though props for him for taking one for the team.

Yes, you got 4 yellow cards while Brazil got 1, but the fact is that none of the Brazilian players got away with what Van Bommel got away with. Those were at least half a dozen of fouls, many of them stopping a counter attack, and he never got a yellow. Anyway, that's not why Brazil lost, they handed it to you on a platter for which they have to blame themselves.
Yeah, van Bommel could be a great politician some day. :cheeky:

I agree the outcome of the game would have been very different if Brazil started players like Ronaldinho and there are more but I don't recall the names.
I don't know why the coach made a decision like that though..

Argentine - Germany now .. Another heavyweight game. It's impossible to predict the outcome of this game. But if i have to pick a winner im gonna go with Germany. Brazil - Holland and Germany - Argentine sounds more like semifinals than quarterfinals.

Argentina building up some momentum late in the 1st half, Germany not getting as many forward on the counter, but when they do, Argentina won't be able to stop them.

fucken blitzkreig goal lol

and Argentina need a good half time talk to settle down, they are losing their heads a bit.

also, Messi = overrated

Congrats to the germans here! They gave Argentine a lesson in football. When Germany scored the second goal , argentine gave up! They had time to come back , but they didnt wanna play no more. Fighting spirit? NONE.. Just like Brazil they cant handle being down a goal or two.. they get pissed and just give up.
