Congrats iaoish , great performance in the second half. I agree 110 % about brazils dickriding fans . I really cant stand them.. As soon as Sweden is out , everybody overhere turns into bandwagon Brazil fans. So this felt extra good! I love how Holland play football, always have ..

What will happen with Felipe Melo? As sick as it is , Escobar style execution wouldnt surprice me.
Thanks man, I am glad Holland pulled this one through. Now up against Uruguay. I saw only the last few minutes of this game from when Ghana took the free kick when Suarez made the hands. And the Ghanese dude missed the penalty.
I was in the coffeeshop when this happend. I quickly cycled back home to watch the penalties.
The last one was crazy. lol

lol yeah I hate how people cheer for Brazil because "they are going to win anyway" and "they are the best". So for me this felt like a double victory haha

I like how they play as well but I think van Persie shouldn't be a striker. He should be replaced by Kuyt or Huntelaar.
I think they would play a lot better this way.. But I must say I am not really an expert on football..

Sorry, but how is the ref riding brazilian nuts when Van Bommel finished the game without even a yellow card, and Robben was diving like as if it was the Olympics the whole game and was getting all the calls?

Gullit put it very clearly - "It's better to be lucky than good". Had that freak equalizer not happened, Brazil had the game in the bag.
Did you watch the same game I did?
The game I watched was Brazilian dudes makes fouls left and right and got off with a warning. Every time!

And when a Dutch player did something similar, most of the times not even as bad as the Brazilians then it the ref pulled a yellow card.

But I can't complain though, we still won.

^I agree, RVP should be a winger. He's not a striker who can play Center Forward and play with his back to the defense very well.

Yeah he should be a winger or attacker or something or just go and move to Greenland for all I care but he's not a striker.

They need Dennis Bergkamp back...LOL
You know, I was thinking this when I wrote that other message..
"I would have loved to see Bergkamp play".

Its looking good for Holland since Suarez will miss the game(who else i know a couple of players got yellow card?). I dont think Holland would have any problems with Uruguay even if Suarez would play , to be honest. Robben had a couple of situationas where he could have passed instead of taking the shot. By the way , in the last minute i think ,when Holland counterattacked , what the hell happened? They had like 3 players against the goalie and he(i dont remember who it was) just stood there with the ball for like 5 seconds when he just could have passed and it would be a goal for sure! That was pretty funny ..

About the second game. In the group stage i really felt that Ghana was the weakest team to advance to the last 16. But they stepped it up a notch in the last two games and it was a tight game against Uruguay. You cant help but feel sorry for Asamoah Gyan for that penalty miss in the last seconds.. Did you guys see him after the game? He was fucked up and in shock and couldnt stop crying..But what hero Suarez is for Uruguay..Now they have a shot for a world cup medal for the first time in 40 years or so?

Great games today..

Yes, you got 4 yellow cards while Brazil got 1, but the fact is that none of the Brazilian players got away with what Van Bommel got away with. Those were at least half a dozen of fouls, many of them stopping a counter attack, and he never got a yellow. Anyway, that's not why Brazil lost, they handed it to you on a platter for which they have to blame themselves.

that was huntelaar the idiot that didn't pass.

and Fucile is banned for next game as well so Uraguay will be heavy underdogs with Suarez out as well, he plays with half of the dutch team in Ajax so he would have valuable knowledge against them.

I'm still upset that Brazil lost..their fault tho!

and Ghana vs Uruguay...what a great game from both teams...

I give Ghana nothing but respect to them because they played hard through out the game and the World Cup....Uruguay been playing good...but I don't see them making it to the end..

Thanks. That explains why huntelaar is a substitute and not in the starting lineup! And dont forget that Lugano went out in the first half with some kind of injury right? I cant see Uruguay making it to the final.

i agree Ghana and Uruguay was my favorite match so far... Ghana has a lot of heart you can tell.

There U-20 team won there version of world cup... so they will be a factor in the next world cup.
