no. mexico played far better teams and looked way better in this cup. not to mention looked way more bad ass in those black uni's as opposed to usa's gay miss america jerseys.

and last time mexico played usa in a game that counted mexico won (wc qualifier)....so there, mexico is better.

not only that, mexico's future is looking far more bright.

and landon donovan looks like a humongous jabroni!

I agree that 1: Mexico jerseys are better and 2: better youth prospects such as Hernandez, he will get a chance to shine at man utd and will be playing with good players.

yeah we will see if he gets a first team cap, kenny cooper and Spector both were signed to Man U at one point, doesn't mean much.

yeah the traditional BLACK uniforms by mexico. el tri.

So much better comp, you couldnt even beat south africa. LOL, you beat a France team that had basically gave up, and lost to Uruguay.

^Mexico fans? You speak in general terms but the reality is you don't say shit. However, I can specifically remember YOU (Not US Fans) talking shit before the cup, during qualifiers saying that Mexico wasn't even going to make the World Cup and how great Team USA is. I don't have to speak like you do, "USA Fans say this or that". YOU're the one that said those things, which shows how much you know about futbol.

I did say that, cause mexico only qualified for the hexagonal on Goal differential and looked like shit under sven, I wasn't the only one saying Mexico was endangered of missing the cup, cause they were. look up articles on websites around that time and you'll read the same shit. it wasn't untill they brought back your old coach did that light a fire under them

be real fedex:

the usa got very lucky in their tie with england. both teams looked like shit, yet usa looked even worse. dempseys goal was bullshit and you and everyone in the world knows it.

you were real close to losing or drawing to SLOVENIA. i agree usa got screwed out of that goal.....but its SLOVENIA....and they scored twice. not a good look.

and you BARELY pulled off a win against ALGERIA....very disney and dramatic finish and thats great..but you were a minute or 2 away from drawing 0-0 with ALGERIA

then you lost, and in my view, got outplayed by ghana. ghana's not a weak team like slov and alg, but ghana is still very beatable and usa couldnt do it.

watch the huge difference between the way ghana looks when they play uruguay....an actual solid team.

i have no shame in losing to uruguay 1-0. they're far better than all 4 teams usa played.

and tieing with the host team in the inaugural game is not nearly as bad as tieing with say...slovenia.

and argentina? well shit, if there's any team that's a worthy team to be owned by, its argentina. and who owns team usa? ghana? lol!

mexico's better than team usa. always and forever.

and cuauhtemoc blanco would mollywop landon donovan in a bar room brawl. game over.

This has been said on numerous occasions here and anywhere else where sports is talked about on a constant basis.....Football, basketball and even baseball is what young Americans really want to get into at a young age, not soccer. Now imagine if our best athletes went the soccer route instead of the other big 3 sports as kids and ran with it....We'd be throttling the other countries like it wasn't shit.

Go ahead and hate me for saying that you Team USA haters (especially the ones that are actual Americans themselves) I could care less....you know it and so does the rest of the world, our real athletes are playing football, basketball and baseball. Don't get me wrong though, soccer is picking up steam in the states but it will never be as big as the 3 major sports of this country....EVER.

So the World Cup will truly never see the full potential an American team could bring to the world stage when it comes to this game. We would have to get extremely lucky to win the whole enchilada and I just don't see that happening anywhere in the near future.
