as a die hard niner fan i can honestly say that although i dislike Sherman and think hes an arrogant pretentious asshole, he is a good player and i would've liked to see him in red n gold. Honestly the hawks are a good team and have a good chance to win it all but calling them "legendary" is absolutely retarded, considering they've accomplished dick besides beating us in a couple of regular season games. If there is one Achilles heel to this team it is their arrogance and over-confidence( particularly on the defensive side), not respecting a good opponent can come back to bite you in the ass, and im almost positive it will. only time will tell though. good luck fuckers
You know who were arrogant? '85 Bears. They made the "Superbowl shuffle" music video BEFORE the playoffs even started lol.

Now we all can agree that the '85 Bears were the greatest team the NFL has ever seen without any question or doubt, so I'm not comparing the two teams, only that arrogance I believe is part of what makes them good.

Seahawks defense are arrogant but they work hard every play. You'll never hear someone say Sherman or Earl Thomas etc gave up on a play.

Mercury Morris will argue with you. 72 phins, 89 niners, 94 niners, 79 steelers, 91 skins, 99 rams. Anyone of those teams can be argued as the best. Give me the 89 niners.

Lol don't even bring up the dolphins they had one of the easiest schedules ever.

The only game Bears lost Jim McMahon was injured and back up Steve Fuller started and played shitty.

Rams? Lol they barely squeaked by the Titans in the Superbowl and barely beat Tampa 11-6 in the championship game.

Bears playoff games and Superbowl:
21-0
24-0
46-10

89 niners defense constantly gave up 20+ points just doesn't compare to the all around greatness of 85 bears, great team though.

Only reason I brought them up is because that record does speak volumes no matter who they played. And every year whenever the last remaining undefeated team loses, mercury morris goes on week long press tour proclaiming them the best team ever.

i disagree them being the greatest team of all time . 84 niners also went 15-1 and won the superbowl, the 89 niners were also unstoppable, shit even the 94 niners were legendary. face it man we owned the bears in the 80's. Dont get me wrong the 85 bears were a great team, but greatest ever??? na breh.

Prior to the implementation of position scheduling in 1978, opponents were set by the NFL on a rotating basis. Statistically, the Dolphins’ 1972 regular-season opponents had an aggregate winning percentage of .397 and only two opponents had winning records that year (both were 8–6).

Obviously not in '85. Bears won at Candlestick 26-10. They sacked Joe Montana a then career high 7 times. After the beat down Mike Ditka was arrested for a DWI lol.

From 87-93 49ers whooped the bears because Bears had shitty QB Jim Harbaugh

You mean the texans...
Or just rotate them both.

Here's a good quote:

Dolphins played one of the easiest schedules in modern NFL history -- the opposition had a combined winning percentage under .400. Unlike the 1985 Bears, the Dolphins didn't stroll through the playoffs. They beat the Steelers in the AFC title game by only four points, 21-17, and were underdogs going into the Super Bowl against the Redskins, who they defeated 14-7. Undefeated underdogs? That means you're not beaten, but you are beatable. We salute the greatness of head coach Don Shula, QB Bob Griese, Larry Csonka, Mercury Morris, Jim Kiick, Garo Yepremian, et al. But the Bears would have beaten them in a head-to-head matchup.

so your "good" qb only played one season?? i'll take any of the niners teams i mentioned over your 85 bears. you guys had a great season and had hall of famers on defense but so did we, not to mention the greatest qb and wide receiver ever, also the 89 niners broke the record set by your bears for the most dominating performance in the Superbowl ever, which still stands. by the way that was against a team that had another great qb John Elway. who was the qb on that weak ass patriots team yall beat?

Jim McMahon was unfortunately never the same after a cheap shot against the Packers in 86. This was a real "bounty gate" where a POS body slammed McMahon waaay after the play injuring his shoulder. He missed the rest of the season which is why they didn't repeat. His throwing arm was never the same and he battled injuries from there on out.
