No real suprises this morning so far.
But seeing Vernon Davis cry was kinda funny, i dont know if hes happy or if hes like fuck, im a 49er lol

I personally think aaron brooks will get the job done, he will be in a offense more fit for him and he has a good arm, thats why they didnt get leinart, its good to see them go with a defensive player.

We got Brooks for now and a good QB in Andrew Walter for the future.... Only QB I would have like to see play for Oakland was Vince Young.. Although I would have like to grab Leinart for trade bait but not too many teams where interested in him

I agree with the majority. I think the Raiders did the right thing in drafting the best defensive player available since Bush, Davis and Vince were already gone. Leinart has problems throwing the deep ball. Plus since the Raiders signed Brooks they didn't really need to use their 1st round pick on a quarterback. Huff was a good pick though. I think AJ Hawk was or is the best defender taken in this draft. He looks like an animal. He could turn out to be better than Ray Lewis...

The Niners did good this time in drafting Davis. I can't lie I was hoping he'd fall to the Raiders. Alex Smith won't have any excuses this season. Larry Allen was signed to give Alex more protection and now he has a tight end. There will be no excuses. Even though I still think Alex Smith is boo-boo because he was a weak as arm.

Raiders taking HUff is smart...but this pretty much solidifies another sucky season in 2006. Now the reason I say this is he will be starting as a rookie...against Chiefs Broncos and Chargers, some of the best offenses around. Now after 2006 huff will be a great player after that exsposer and playing time as a rookie.


I LOVE DENVER GETTING CUTLER!!!!!!!!!

2 seasons of plummer and learning the system and then we got a strong armed accurate qb for years to come!

Its very possible Ras, U know what he can do, and what a good TE can do for a team.....
