I don't see why they can't keep "Oakland". Tons of teams don't play in their actual home city.

I havent been paying attention at all to spring training, but the A's have the best record in Cactus League? I know the games dont mean much, but it does give a little hope to the young talent they got. I dont know where this Dana Eveland guy came from, but he's lighting it up with 10 Ks in 10IP & only 2 ER and also Smith with 9 Ks in 13 IP & 2 ER

I think they'll be better than everyone is expecting... But that might mean they're just bad and not horrible.

I think Duke & Blanton will be traded (Duke first if he strings together some good starts, then Blanton toward the trade deadline.)

Saw an interview with Billy Beane today, talkin about all the rebuilding. He brought up a good point. When they traded Mulder for Haren and some other fools, people were like wtf. But look what Haren turned out to be. We should give it time, dude knows what he's doing.
