The Niners secondary did look good and more improved. Taking nothing away from them but Leinhart looked garbage. He has no mobility or confidence in his arm.

75% of the time ? he had 18 carries.
Gore accounted for 75% of the offense through 3 qausters...they showed the stat.

That being said, yes, the 9ers secondary did a great job. However, Lienert did a HORRIFIC job at QB. He was MISSING people and flat out throwing to NO one half the time. I feel bad for Fitzgerald and Boldin, they aint doin SHIT with Matt at QB this year.

Another stat that stood out to me they mentioned was that Boldin has dropped more passes in his first 4 years...than ANYONE in the HISTORY of the NFL. Ouch.

fuck you and the niners secondary. ur bitch ass is all in the raider threads, so deal with it. no better than 8-8 mark my words. LOL!
Yeah we go in the Raiders threads but we stay on the topic, and don't go in just outta plain hatred. How come every 9ers thread some Raiders fan gotta come in and try and make some comparison between the 2 teams that got nothin to do with the situation.

Some things to consider before you all get ahead of yourselves.

This was the first game in a new offense for the Cardinals. You could tell at times the receivers and Leinart were not on the same page.
Leinart looked really indecisive out there…he missed open receivers and held the ball for too long.

And the play calling was WAY too conservative. Short routes and they all seemed to go to the sidelines…didn’t really test the middle of the field. AZ’s receivers burned that secondary last year…I know they have Clements and Lewis now…but still should have tested them more.

I don’t think this will be the case with the Rams and Seattle. I would see how they perform against those guys before getting too excited.

Gimpy you got points and I agree with them. I just didn't want to take anything away from the Niners because they played pretty good.

I’m not taking anything away from them at all. They won…and that’s all that matters. But me and football fans of other teams are obviously gonna see things differently than Niners fans.

I’m just saying…see how they play against teams that have had their offense for more than 1 season…shit, 1 game…and against more aggressive play calling.

To be fair there wasn't much he could do. He had time, but his guys rarely created seperation. Nate Clements and Walt Harris were all over Boldin and Fitzgerald. He went to work on Spencer a few times to the TE and a couple times to Fitzgerald when Spencer was in coverage, but other than that they couldn't get open.

Seems like this nigga always has to hate on the 49ers. I don't like them myself, but this nigga always has to come into a 49er thread trying to find a way to put them down or discredit them. No matter what you say, that is exactly what you're doing. Haha sad shit.

Anyway Frisco's secondary looked dope last night. First year offense or not, them niggas couldn't get open. And they're considered the best receiver tandem in the league. Whether or not Matt Leinart played well, Boldin and Fitz weren't getting open. The 49ers didn't even have much of a pass rush so Leinart had a lot of time to stand there while the recievers tried to get open, but it never happened. That says a lot about the coverage skills of Clements and Walt.

How many errand passes did Lienert throw? Plenty. He COMPLETELY missed Fitzgerald on the attempted TD pass when he threw to B.Johnson...Fitzgerald was open, Johnson was DOUBLE COVERED.

Leinert did a bad job, through and through. Not to mention, the PLAY calling was terible for AZ as well. Do a screen pass, do a quick slant..SOMETHING.

Were you even watching the game? The 9ers secondary had the Cardinals recievers on lock. Last few seasons the 9ers had shitty ass secondaries. Why the fuck you think they paid out the ass to upgrade their defensive backs?

I ain't a "nigga"...you stupid piece of shit.

I'm just giving my opinion...a majority of the football threads on here are Niners and Raiders related...for obvious reasons. I'm not a fan of either team so I give my non-homer opinions.

I do the same on some of the Raiders threads. As a matter of fact...all the Raiders and Niners fans go at each other on just about every thread...why don't you call one of them out?
