RIP to Lil Dame ...

but how do you expect it to stop it when these kids don't want to change?

listen to the music they listen to..glorifying the sale of drugs + guns and etc..

I know I know...i shouldn't blame it on the music..but it can also be the problem as well...

Taking kids to morgues or hospitals have been done in other bad cities in the past. if they see the cold reality of street life, it might scare them straight.
there is also something in these kids minds that dont care about ANYTHING and that should also be something to consider. what makes them wake up and say FUCK IT.

The problem is beyond complex. We have governmental mandates and an entire prison economic system that is banking (pun intended) on the criminalization of inner city minority males. Once you become apart of the system- it's a wrap. You find out quickly upon release that you can't get a job, you can't vote nor can you apply and secure aide for an education. This produces generations of un-educated and un-employed parents and that shit trickles down to their children. Long story short it is going to take time, resources, economic stability and patience for things to began to turn around.

^That's real and the system you are speaking of hits Oakland as hard or harder than damn near anywhere else because of the fact that almost 6,000 prisoners a year are released back onto the streets of Oakland (more than the majority of other cities in the US), most of them got zero rehabilitation/education while behind bars. And like you said, once your in the system it's almost impossible to get out, that means most of the cats that get released are probably gonna be doin the same shit that got them thrown in jail in the first place. It's just a never ending cycle that affects every city, but Oakland in particular.

^^^ Very True , with the lack of rehabilitation in prison & jail its a revolving door .

What a dad - I mean I never had a father figure , but this man spoke so good about his son it made me really sad. I felt his pain through the words ..... Why does god have to take the best from us . ???? Why ?

RIP -

well that nigga left made a point but it goes a bit deeper than that they not only want profits but they wanna keep niggas down and dead as well its depopulation that goes with the big business of prisons n police and keep niggas stupid they control the music industry as well mayne its a conspiracy but to put it plainly it aint gone ever stop cuz the corruption starts at the top homie and triccles down to the bottom of the pyrimad so thas what it is if niggas really want a whole scale change u gotta change the government but to start off u gotta get ur mind right then kids if u got em n go from there
