Yeah, I've said this before and I'll say it again--it seems like people outside Cali (i.e. folks in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Missouri, Indiana, Utah, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, and I'm probably leaving out some states) and overseas seem to appreciate Bay/Central Cali music more than those who LIVE in Cali (Jay Tee, Luni Coleone and Messy Marv have mentioned this both on this board and in interviews from MURDER DOG). Go figure...
Maybe a more appropriate topic would be "who is UNDERRATED in the Bay/Central Cali?"

Some of you muthafuckas on here got some weird ass taste in rap music. I know opinions are opinions, but dayum...Recognize the real and wake up. It's like sav-man said...The Bay don't get no love because even our own people can't/or won't support the Bay Area's best. And then Bay Area rap listeners wonder why...
cmon its not because u aint giving props to a few bay artists cause they weak that the bay dont get love.. .. the bay has plenty rappers.. it's not like if there were only sucka m.c.'s who were reppin the bay...u know??

don't trip ya'll... probably most of the people that even could think of somebody's name is too young to appreciate the legends and rappers who made classic music...
for example, if i just started listenin to mac dre, i would think he wasn't all that... but i been listenin to him since "too hard for tha radio" (which is classic)... so to me that nikka is probably the most entertainin rapper out now period... next to e-40 and b-legit who some of ya'll think is overrated too.. ya'll funny...

i'm the same way, Raven In My Eyes was the best of the bunch after Dre DoG
and also, i'm not sayin this in defense because i dont really need to defend myself in this situation since it is MY OPINION, but I'm not really biG on E-40 and it's not cuz i'm hatin or jealous, i could really Give a fucc, the question is the music, y'all love it and i dont, i still bump it from time to time, but i'm not one to buy his albums the day they come out or anythinG like that...and if weople keep tellin me this shit is so tiGht, so hot, one of the best releases of the year...and I Go out and buy it, bump it once or twice then it just sits on my shelf..u know what that means?
