LOL...Two different era's in basketball when comparing Jordan and Kobe.

as a Laker fan I'd say Kobe is one of the top three Players ever.
but i grew up watching Jordans run and know Jordan was a bad motherfucker.
but Kobe isnt too far behind. and butt fucking that cheap white bitch wasnt a good move for his image. when he coulda boned a finer looking bitch off redbook.

but either way, when he stops playing he's gonna be missed by any REAL basketball fan.

just like when Larry Bird,Magic,Kareem, and Jordan retired.

They got in the best position for the playoffs, as I described in a previous post. They can beat the Spurs even now because the Spurs are the least athletic top team and they can actually match up against them, plus the Spurs aren't healthy either. And if they had Kobe, they would have been able to beat Denver or Golden State, and then if he played like he did against OKC when they beat them two months ago, it would not have been impossible to beat OKC too and get to the finals.

It's not going to happen now, which is quite unfortunate, but given the circumstances, the 7th seed is a dream come true. All the more reasons to be mad about that injury - they are never getting that 7th seed without Kobe giving absolutely everything those last few weeks (and before that too).

Kobe has been a great player, no question. If he would've played more like he played this season where he was getting his team involved and putting up 7+ assists per game, I think he actually may have passed Jordan in terms of greatness for a lot of people. He was certainly capable of that and it would've equated to more wins and better shooting percentage. As it stands, he can't catch Jordan no matter what he does unless it's something completely outrageous like leading a lesser team than he has now to winning another 3 straight chips or something. But even then, people will always say that Jordan was the better player and whatever Kobe does, Jordan could do better.

Jordan had some damn good teams, especially the last 2 seasons. They had 3 hall of famers on that team and the best coach ever. Don't sleep on that. Jordan never won a chip without Phil Jackson

Im just sayin though Jordan made great teams made guys play hard. He left for two years and the Bulls just got to the playoffs. This so called Jordan played with HOF's ok how many were good in their own right. 1 luv to Scottie Pippen he was a hella ofa defensive player but w/o Jordan just wasn't much of a leader. Dennis Rodman ok he is 1 of the original bad boys straight ole school ball!

Kobe had Shaq! And Phill Jackson!

Win or not Kobe has had many superstar along side him since the start of his career he was eased into the spot. That blockbuster team alone that lost to the Pistons shit give that to Jordan they might have went undefeated, even the team of today camon 7/8th place yes its more a management problem but Jordan wouldn't have let that get in the way.

With Jordan the Bull went 72-10. That is tremendous focus and discipline. A winners mentality.

Dude, Scottie Pippen was a great player man. No question about it. He took that team without Jordan to the playoffs by carrying that team on his back. He also went to Portland and made them WAY better of a team. He was legit man and a hall of famer with or without Jordan. He was a great defender as well.

Rodman was an incredible defender and rebounder. One of the best defensive players in his era and the best rebounder, no question.

Shaq was never a champion on his own either. DWade stole the show in those playoffs. I guess to be fair, Kobe wasn't stealing the show while he was playing with Shaq
