now let me see a show of hands as to the people that have gon to these functions and had to leave because of gun fights/shots/stabbings. people getting the dog shit beat of them. i know i have, i dont fuck with functions no more,and its a sad hting cuz i cannot honestly enjoy them like i use to cuz for me to even feel safe and have fun,i have to bring a gun with me and or wear a vest,what type of fun is that?


how many of yal have left a house party, and was walking down the block with a mob of 30 or 40 drunken/high wild ass people with no regards to what will happen in the next 5mins? its a whole diff vibe in the ai when you are in this atmosphere,and thats where this dumb shit starts off. stop the soliticing of drugs/alcohol. this is coming from a young cat who grew up in a world full of pimping/hoeing/drug dealing and robbing so i kno the things i speak off,and i say this because these are the only ways we will see a decrease in the problems that exist at home.

but hyphy IS local underground rap... there was ONE major label album released.. how many underground albums/mixtapes have been released? it IS the local underground rap scene.. which is why even a lot of respected "veterans" are catering to it.. and if your favorite non-hyphy rapper was told that he would see ZERO DOLLARS unless he switched to hyphy.. he would do the same...

well hyphy is more like a gimmik and it makes sense for artists to switch up cz that's where the scratch is made...hyphy is hot at the moment and i guess artists are sick of the same old Bang Bang, guns, drugs etc. the only decent cd imo that came out this year was the new dayton family. i haven't heard much underground fire from the bay in years.
