Hey pimp, I had to highlight that point about being the numero uno slept on. Once I finally heard you and seen your show, I knew you were the real deal. I still shake my head folks. Real talk. Working on album 10 and cats still just finding out. WOW!
To also add my 2 bucks on the unity thing.............. I just don`t see it being in Sac`s DNA. This city has been divided for years by gangs, and now all of a sudden these same hoods and camps are supposed to put all bs aside for the music? Not gon happen. Look what happen to the homie Hondo? He out here pushing E.F.F.U (Everyday Fight For Unity) And he gets shot at his own show!! This city has soooooooo much talent, but there are far too many lines to divide to make a solid push. Be it colorlines, egos, attitudes, it`s like this city is destined for underground aclaim and that`s it.
One peice of advise the late Mac Dre told my homie 86 was to get out of Sac. He said that if you want to be successful, get out of Sac. Get on the road. That`s where the money is. If you`re a Sac artist, you better take notes and gas the vehicle because show support is little, and so is fan support. You get more love and respect on the road. Ask any of these artists on here if I lie. Ask Chris Macias from the Sac Bee who went on the road to Portland with us to write his article "To Live and Rap in South Sac" in 2006.
This city has the potential all day long, but no balls or brains to make it happen. Get into your feelings an get mad if you need to. Sometimes the truth hurts. Man up an get over it.
