when I made that statement about knwing game was done before he even started, I meant as far as having the credibility that is necessary to gain the magnitude of a legend. When he came out bumping his gums on MTV about being the next PAC, "resurrecting this WEST COAST," and about a paragraph of other bullshit I ain't trying to remember....im sure it was cute to all the little horny females in JR High....what I'm saying is NO DISRESPECT 2 game for working his hustle, but Im over here with a grin on my face cuz we got some grown fucking niggaz who swear on their mother's grave that this nigga game gots the west coast on lock! He's a pretty dope. Have yall heard that Stop Snitchin mixtape? That dude can spit! Either he got better or he gots a ghostwriter or something. Dude gots heat now. If he stuck around with JT he would've never blew up like he did. All those albums he did with Get Low were garbage. All them beats were just janky as fuck. Do rappers listen to those beats before they write to them.

He DID bring the West back into the limelight...on a mainstream level.
As far as Game being the best from the west...I think he is at the moment. Anyone who heard 120 bars knows why...he murdered it on that. He's stepped up his emcee game big time from the time of his Documentary album.
Plus...he's still got Dre overseeing his new album.

Game's shit might've have been weak with JT (don't know, since i never heard it) but it was good enough for Dre to fuck with Game... Game's MO is lame, and JT's still eating off that dude

Anybody who thinks that it only takes promotion/hype to sell 5 million strong is a complete and total jackass. That hype and promotion will surely get you quite a few sales, BUT it will NOT get you 5 times platinum. No amount of money or support can get you that many sales unless you have TALENT. If you don't like The Game, fine, but don't go flapping your chops acting like it was strictly promos that got him to where he is. Having Dre and 50 Cent got him the exposure he needed to blow up, but the rest of G-Unit had that same exposure and they all flopped with the exception (kinda) of Lloyd Banks. Point being, you have to make music that appeals to certain people and you gotta have the talent to do so or you will flop. The Game is not the best rapper in the west (Crooked I would dismantle him lyrically), but he is the most dominant and well known by a long shot. Not to mention he's actually not a bad rapper, especially when it comes to the mainstream scene.
As for the article.... Nobody knows what is true and what is bullshit. Seems to me Big Fase 100 (and yes, I know who he is) is just trying to gain some acknowlegement by beefing the biggest name in the game right now....
