The Game's got SOME tight shit, but calling him the "best" is crazy. And even if he does blow up, it won't "bring back the West"--it'll only make the G-Unit and Dre's public prominance even bigger than it is right now. It'll probably do more good for Aftermath itself than it will for the West as a whole, because more than likely, it'll just encourage the industry to keep enforcing this bullshit attitude that you can't get exposure unless you do corny-ass dance songs and become a "rapper in love" (as the Westside Connection put it)...
Don't get me wrong--I'd like to see the West come back commercially, if possible, but it just bugs me that the only way that it can be done today seems to be to kiss the love song/dance crowd's asses...

yeah,i agree,he is going to do more for dre and g-unit then he will the west in my OPINION....dont see how having a rapper who really doesnt offer anything special that anybody is offering right now and who is affiliated with nothing but mostly eastcoast cats is going to help the west...he is going to be hollering g-unit more than he is westcoast or anything like that,so eventually he will just lose his westcoast idenity and just be another mainstream rapper that nobody even cares where he is from...i really dont see what the big deal is about the game...you can plug any other bay artist into the formula he is in now and blow up just the same,so it doesnt impress me
