I must say, that that is an album. They found a way to be catchy, street, intelligent and represent the Bay without seeming like a local act. Their concepts were on point, their production was so refreshing and creative...LEFT and E-A-SKI did a phenominal job of creating and weaving togeather tracks from Rap/Rock to Bay anthems like What Is It...yet nothing seemed out of place. Locksmith showing that he was much more than a battle rapper, the group having the guts to do something, well not hyphee during these hyphee times in the Bay Area...was a risk that will take them far in the arena of music. Eyes in the industry are on the Bay Area and this album and it unilatterial appeal will open the everclosed eye of even the biggest West Basher...I sent a girl who works for me to get my copy and she said that the line was out the door...I almost couldn't believe that the Bay was actually supporting something this eclectic in the genre of rap music...Over all you really can't compair this to any other albums out right now. The industry knows quality and their graphics, the quality of the photos, the sheer layout of the artwork was that of a highend major relese, but they are the personification of "indie artist"...as a fan of creative music, I comend them...and as an insider in the industry I have my eye (as do others) on them. Great production, quality mixing and mastering, great graphics and excellent comand of the art of universaly friendly emceeing...Think of the greats, you knew where they were from not because of their style, but because they presented it to you in their albums.
