SCOCIOUS-OLIE, The Coup has a Bay Area rap sound and their raps are tight. Instead of rapping about how high they get, how many "bitches" they fuck, how many cars they own, or how many people they shoot, they rap about being opressed, poor, discriminated, and real shit that others don't rap about.

That track off "Party Music" is ironic to me as the origional CD cover showed the WTC blowin up & was due to be released days b4 9/11/01. It was also b4 during and after so much other senseless bloodshed here in Oaktown.

Anyone know when they're dropping some new shit? I thought Boots made a deadly combination with Dead Prez and I hope they collaborate on some more shit in the future. I also can't wait for Dead Prez's Walk Like A Warrior.
