i just cant comprehend a place that has 30 something fucking cities being better or worse than one city.

thats really not fair even if people still chose la. i think it was done that way because no actual individual city besides sf up there could hold a candle.

L.A. is a nice city..i was in Huntington Park not too long ago between Gage and Florence on San Pedro visiting some fam...I like L.A. myself, specially the girls that live in L.A.. They're not like the females from they bay, they're down and very outgoing..they don't care about certain things..but they love the bay swag...

Real spit. I don't feel right unless I get down to L.A. a couple times a year. There's just something about the people down there that's different from folks in the Bay. Yes, the females do give you a little more to work with, too. It's a bitch talkin' to a female out here, but down there it's nothin'...it's like everybody is out to have a good time. People up here are so fuckin' serious all the time.

LMAO! Again, it depends on how you carry yourself. I'm obviously never going to be mistaken for a blood or a crip, so I'm good in that area. The only place I've ever been approached was in Goleta (By Santa Barbara), by some Southerners. Even then, I told 'em I was from the Bay...they knew I wasn't a Northerner, and my folks and I went on with our night.

And LMAO @ Oakland being all love 'cause it's black majority. That has nothin' to do with it, Oakland is Oakland. My dude went to Oakland and got robbed within 15 minutes. It's mainey as fuck out there...but got a lot of love for the town. In SF, it's segregated and everybody wants everybody else to stay out of their neighborhoods. The Bay is the Bay though, gotta love it out here, too.

but me personally, i havent had any issues there, and everyones been cool with me to the security guards in stores to the kids with dreads to the girls to the people working in stores, everyones been helpful. i dont walk into anyones hood i dont know if i have no business being there so maybe like you said its 'how you carry yourself'

i chalk up that kind of openess to being around your own people.

and ive lived in sf so i know how it is, i know that place like the back of my hand..but at the end of the day, while the gay parade is going on, people are still selling weed on market street. take that how you want.

Naw I feel you, it's the same with me and LA. A lot of folks hate LA, are scared of the crime rate, etc. etc...but I've never had a problem there. So I get where you're comin' from. About SF, I think shit needs to change out there. I've seen cats on the corner of Columbus in North Beach, but they were from Filmore and the TL...and the cops were trying to get 'em out of the neighborhood. Some bullshit.
