i wouldnt go as far to say fuck them other regions..cats out here need to take they hustle elsewhere. im tired of goin to these damn events out there and its a bunch of artist and promoters promoting they shit to other artist and promoters (whats the point?). i see very few fans at events, its sad, and every thing is so oversaturated

I hope somebody new from the bay can crack into the industry and drop a major album.

I'm thinking somebody like Bailey or Clyde Carson and Ya Boy is our best bet. I hope one of them cats can make something significant to bring some attention back to the bay besides the legends in the game.

We need to hear some of our young talents to get heard because the talent is out here, it just that they sleep on us tough.

Partly due to the fact that bay area people don't support their own, thats part of the problem, but alot of times cats be promoting their music shamelessly and the shit is garbage, so that MAKES it harder for the dudes with real skill.

Its an overflooded market, and we don't support the local scene.

The Bay Area will only be as successful as the support it receives from its own background. Support is the main factor for any artist in the bay to be successful. We have to start really getting behind our artist because if we don't nobody will.

This is such a true statement. One problem with Bay Area hiphop is the fucking fans. We rather support other people's shit then our own. The South is on top because there fans ride with them. No matter how good or bad. We got better rappers then the South to me. Why we cant get like them? Wayne sold 50,000 in the Bay alone. 40 & Quinn might not even get that altogether.
