Nobody goes to college to learn things. They go to get a degree which in turn gets you a job that pays good.
You must be that guy who sits next to me in all my classes, pulls C's in every class and gets your papers back and says "This teacher must be an idiot, I worked so hard on that paper and only got a B."

While I calmly slide my A into my folder along with my other work that makes yours look like shit.

I may be broke as hell (for the moment), but on any given night my intelligence can get me any bitch in the bar. Just like on any given night, money get can any guy maybe half of any of the bitches in the bar.

My feeling though, is this: If you want to be an uneducated baseball star, go right the fuck ahead. Academics isn't for everybody, and there isn't a lot of money in being intelligent for the sake of being intelligent.

Everybody's good at something, and if you can get paid at it: that's everyone's dream- getting paid to do what you love.

I love to sit on the siccness, fuck different girls of all colors, research and write about topics, weight train, play basketball, travel, eat food and drink beer. If I could get paid for that shit, I'd be working quadruple shifts if I ended up with seven figures in the bank.

That's the pioint i was trying to make. If you go to college, you go to get a degree so you can get a job that pays good money. Nobody goes to school solely to gain knowledge. If really you want to learn about a certain subject because your interested in it then you don't need someone to teach you, educate yourself. You go to school for the degree.
