Ok... wack beats?

When did this happen?

IMO Some of the best beats Techs ever had were put out on the last 2 albums...

Wack hooks? Nahh.. not for the most part.. sure 1 or 2.. on each album.. Anghellic had just as many as Killer imo...

1. Corny Beats: I don't know if he surrounds himself with those who challenge his choices in this area - he needs to - but often times his selections are questionable. Even songs that have the potential to be classic are hindered by the underwhelming aura of simple, time-sensitive beats. This is greatly shown on Absolute Power and Everready. I'm not bashing producers like Seven, Femi Ojetunde or the Technico Bros. because they are incredible producers and at the end of the day, it is Tech who decides what beat makes the album and what doesn't. I do feel as though however, that it's almost ubiquitously percieved that the production on AngHellic has yet to be matched by any Tech N9ne album. Don Juan, who produced the bulk of AngHellic has also had issues matching it as of late. But the existence of corny beats is sometimes saved by Tech's phenomenal lyrical and recording ability. Most of the time, however, mediocre beats create an unsalable track.
That's funny... I think everything before Anghellic pretty much had "corny" beats, but I will say that some of the chorus' on Tech's songs don't help much. Check out "Jellysicle" for an example of this.

Tech has recently shifted from quality and into quantity in this realm. When supporters of Tech see hundreds of show dates on a tour list, they wonder "When does he have time to actually conceptualize his music and record it?"
This is absolutely true, and also very false at the same time. I wasn't pleased to hear when Tech was talking in an interview and said something to the effect of "Yeah we recorded all 4000 tracks in 5 days". That wasn't impressive to me. It was questionable, really.

However, as far as touring goes, if Tech didn't tour, people would just be bitching about that. Also, everyone knows Touring is where the money is... If financially speaking, you're better off touring a whole year and dropping an album in between shows and you're cool with that, then what the fuck should stop him from doing that? My opinion? Your opinion? I don't even listen to what people tell me and I'm not wealthy by any means. And by "not wealthy by any means", I mean I'm fucking poor.

The blurred faces of the crowd and the empty space in the back of the stands, however, is not appealing and is frankly odd.
Not really. I'm critical of all types of artwork and that cover never really raised any questions to me.

Killer, is an exception. That was a great idea and was done nicely - proof of forethought.
Wow I really disagree with this guy... lol.

It's almost clearly apparent the that music that Tech has been putting out has been molded around the reliance of performing. Mind you, this is not entirely bad because Hip-Hop is supposed to make you move. It can however, manufacture the death of the introspective Tech N9ne that is the foundation of his popularity.
Very true. But I'll admit straight up that I'm a sucker for every club song Tech puts out.
For example, the skits on all of MC Chris' albums are fucking hilarious.
Wait... These aren't Presbyterians!

IMO Some of the best beats Techs ever had were put out on the last 2 albums...
Caribou Lou is one of the best beats I've ever heard.

agree with very little. Thanks for sharing YOUR opinion though. My opinion is that every tech n9ne album ever made, has had at least two filler songs on it. And every single tech n9ne album ever made, has had at least two killer songs on it which seem to by the greatest song I have ever heard until the next tech album comes out. Basically, every album that he releases, there is a song on there that instantly becomes my favourite. That is all i ask for,,,and that is why i buy his music.

In Mizzery - not the one from MLK. the one from those old features
Mizery from Celcius (spelled that way on cover)

From the beginning nigga..
Its all Jesus..jeah..
Tech N9ne!! and my nigga Macc James...
Heh heh heh heh heh heh...
Straight bringin that mizery, mizery..

*Chorus*
Mizery when I see enemies, niggas be Kennedies (?)
Homicidal tendencies got mitch bade niggas on bended knees
Could it be that a nigga wanna bang cuz I'm runnin with the gang that'll give a nigga pain, me and Macc James givin these bitch niggas a taste of Mizery
Give em Mizery(ry) Bitches get with me (me) Got my nigga M-A-C (C) Gonna bring em mizery

(TECH)
I'm high, yall drunk..I love bud..bout to hit em with anotha hit up out of the Mizery nigga nigga what!
My murderous niggas heard of this verb that I serve in this ssssshit..I shits word into the curb with this isssh (haaaf)
Mystic, might be twisted but bitch we got the shit gifted,
Mizery nigga, so what you givin me nigga,
nothin but witchery nigga, millimeter's the killa,
bow down to a nigga right now for the sound, hold up,
nigga came to the club and he found us,
up behind a nigga back tryin to bound us,
I don't want that nigga Vell up around us..
You the Holy Temple bandit, nigga I'm a killa on candy,
Tecca Nina Ima be the omega believe I''m that
bomb that landed on your set cuz you call me Satan,
when I look at you I see skull chips dipped in ranch dressing, lemon chicken with a side of intestines,
induced vomiting backwards digestion,
torn ligaments with Ragu, garlic salt's meshin,
enormous hole in the ozone to affect my complexion,
frontal lobes fried in Wesson, nigga like me sick no need for no medicine.. Bishop & Keen (What!)
You betta believe you gotta leave
before you get a couple in ya belly..
Keena better strip in a whole nother city,
Bishop keep doing songs with R. Kelly,
Mentally you niggas can't even get with me
I done lost everything but my chemistry
Macc and Tech we be hotter than hickory
Killin delivery, livin in Mizery..

*Chorus*

(MACC JAMES)

KC Mizery, leave unsolved mysteries
For fuckin round wit my cheddar cheese
betta leave these G's alone before me and my nigga tech nina
Hit ya home, split ya dome
With the 4 chrome, make a nigga face melt like the ozone
In the mind of a psycho, what goes on?
Colombian necktie with no clothes on
Murder show's on, in the K-Town
I'm the type of nigga that'll beat yo ass down
Shoot you in the face as soon as you hit the ground
Hit a nigga, split a nigga, then give you a pound
32 rounds, packin extendeds,
Crossin my niggas is not recommended,
Tempted to put you in a life long body cast
You best guard yo shit when the shotty blast
More straps than John Gotti had
So sick I sleep in a body bag,
Droppin bombs like Saudi
Had to get low in a Lac on faulty tags
Talkin trash'll get you took out
Four niggas posted just to look out
Get grips like fierce and have a cook out
Let me show you niggas what me and the crooks bout
Thievin, schemin, seein demons,
Smoke so much you kill yo semen,
Psychoactive human being
Eyes so low I look Korean,
Head steamin, funk bringin,
Old school rida gangsta leanin,
James & Tech N9ne tag teamin,
Leavin all you fags bleedin..

Or you know, the song that's actually called "In Mizzery" that's Don Juan & Tech N9ne. The same one that "I'll Pass" shares a very close similarity to.
