...I am tossing this thread up with a lil' inspiration from JL's thread about Tech blowing up and all and it made tons of sense...

1. I never looked at the situation like, Tech aint on any mixtapes at all?????????? That is a devastating factor if you are a known artists, hyped artist, backed artist and a long time coming rapper! With Tech being at the caliber he is... One question arises!!! What is Tech's deal with MIXTAPES????? I think this is a much needed advancement for Tech's career rather it be looked at as minor or a waste of time. Think if Tech was heavy on mixtapes from the time Absolute Power started to fizzle, he'd probably be featured on some major shit by now!

2. And another thing, What is Tech's deal with the East Coast??? He needs to make some noise over there forreal... You got muthafuckas like Zer0 & in10city that aint seen a lick of Tech on that coast or any fan for that matter... I think Strange needs to go to a couple labels on the East Coast, I dont give a damned if its Bad Boy or Rocafella, and get down with the get down! Feel me...

Animout...

tech would be sick on a mixtape, but whose would you like to hear him on? Or who would you like to hear on his? I do also think the west side and midwest parts of the country hog him. Maybe if he toured a little bit on the east that might get him out there and blown up more.

Agreed. I have seen Tech a good 10 times. So far it seems to be only pushing 1 album.

i'm not on the east coast anymore. havent been for a few years but I agree with you maszive. mixtape exposure and tour exposure all over the states (plus the world) would seem to like it would boost tech's career

Thank You! I been waitin for that shit. I only seen one tech show, and had to drive four hours west for that. I'm really not feelin alot of east coast shit right now, and would love to see tech shake things up on some east coast mixtapes. a wake up call to the scene on the east, you know? word has it jay-z is supposed to be coming out from retirement...say what you will, but i think that would be a great collab, even though it'll most likely never happen, haha. i know jay was feelin him back in the day though. but yeah, tech needs to hit east, no doubt.

IMO, Tech would blaze the hottest Mixtapes handsdown...

DJ Green Lantern should be the first stop for Tech's mixtape appearances. And I aint talking no damned verse at the end of a song, I'm talking about a whole song or two. Some DJ's do a whole Mixtape with one featured artist and then the raw upcoming underground niggas rip it.

There are about 15 rappers in the last 4 years that were exposed out of order, Tech should've been one of the first to be exposed! I think Tech wouldn't be making steps backward nor stooping down to be on mixtapes. The one guaranteed thing that would happen is once Tech steps in the Mixtape world he will be having niggas take shots at him and he might have to fire back but if he wants to hold his ground that what he'll have to do to get respect! Some niggas whole rap life/career is in the mixtape circuit.

Tech knows Busta, Jay, hell lots of indy niggas! Why the fuck wasn't Tech on the New Busta track with half of them wack features??? I would've loved to see Tech on that song, and for those of you that aint heard the song, its ill... But put Tech on the video with a murderous verse and the song would be a lot nicer! DMX came out the woodwork for this one, hell... Papoose got on that track cause he blazed mixtapes and didnt even come half raw on the record. You cant deny a raw nigga, so if Tech hit up the mixtapes like he should, then he'd be on a lot of new shit dropping by East coast cats!

Jay-Z and Tech... Rawwwww! Lyrical competition 100%
Busta and Tech... Rawwwwwer! Illest Party track of the year!
DMX and Tech... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Monsta shit!
50 Cent and Tech... Tight shit, cause I'd love to see 50 overshadowed by the underdog!

If Tech works with underground cats on mixtapes and shit, when they do blow up they aint gone forget him and will want him on their shit. How would Tech fair on Texas mixtapes, you never know????????? I got cats from D-Town, H-Town and shit that love some Tech... And then again a lot of niggas screw music up and Tech is just too damned fast for their liking! Tech on Southern mixtapes like ATL and FL, Tech would kill em'...

Lavel produced various projects for Psychopathic, such as twiztids mans myth and mutant, he also was a member of super villainz along with J, Shaggy, and Esham. But after Anybody Killa left Psychopathic, unfortunately thats when the beef started. that mixtape was released last monday and yes it features alot of disses to Psychopathic, so i'm sure this board will love that. the mixtape is called "diamond cuts vol. 1" for anyone interested theres a 45 minute interview with Lavel over at faygoluvers and at the end he says that he's trying to get a hold of Travis to go out on tour with Tech.

and i rather not see him work with Jay-Z and 50 Cent. 1 steal lyrics and da other cant rap worth shit. As for DJ Green Lantern, DMX, Busta, yea that would be some hot shit. Maybe Immortal Technique, really depends on what songs
